Or are the graphics on this site messed up? None of the buttons show up, I just get the boxes with the red X in them.

Jennifer, did you come right? I had problems like that before when browsing from the office and the firewall was really restricting the graphics or at home when my internet connection was really bad.

Hi Prue,
I tend to be very quick on swopping between this forum and something more work related. I also tend to turn images off in my browser ... :p
Sometimes I'll connect via the Linux server we have running too via an X terminal window so that it masks where it is coming from. Although that seems kind of pointless now.
Love,
Vicky

Clarissa3d,
I was told not to download sp2 because it was too buggy for our company and it doesn’t let everything work on my computer. Wait for the next edition

I've been having this problem for weeks now. It seems to be getting worse - now I can't even type in the URL without problems. When I type the site into the address bar it brings me to "my web search". The only way I can get here now (started 2 days ago) is to search "crossdresser forums" in yahoo and find a deep sub menu. I checked what I could find for firewalls and internet settings, but no luck. Any ideas? (I'm guessing that's the confused smiley! Just a box to me right now)

Yeah, I've tried everything. SP2, settings, you name it. And I have my MCSE, so I am not completely computer illiterate. I just can't see graphics at this site. ALL other sites no problems. Just this one. Things that make you say, hmmm.

Like Amelie, I've had the problem on and off. And whenever I've had an on-and-off probelm with a web site, I figure it's on their end, not mine. So don't eliminate the possibility that something the server does might be messing with you...and several other computers with configurations similar to yours...
But in the meantime...
Have you cleared your cache?
Tried a different browser, like Mozilla or Opera just to see if it's there too?
Tried a second computer from the same location?
Have you had a friend bring over a laptop, plug it in and try? (oops...you might be in the closet....)
Anyway, if you're a computer pro, all these ideas will sound lame. Keep trying though....
