Posting an image twice.

I tried to do this today. An image that I had already posted into the Egoist thread refused to take into another thread.
Is there a way to prevent this double appearance other than deleting the first appearance ?

You cannot post the same image twice on this forum, even if you change the file name. You have to make sure the file size or the image size is different.

The only way to use the same pic on the forum twice is to do as I said above, or you will have to delete it from the first thread by going thru the Edit>Manage Attachments>Remove of the post it first appeared in.

Yes, thats a bummer. There are several images I could have used more than once. I wonder why the program wont let us post the same image more than once? The only thing THAT acomplishes is forcing the site to use much MORE MEMORY space, a much more serious "inconvenience" than a mere astetic quirk about someone seeing too much of the same repeated image in different places on the site.-----The no same posting policy(unless its a built-in software quirk) has the potential to create a bigger problem with the site that it would solve.

Marina Twelve, as far as I know, that is built into the forum software. I suggest you write to the main Admin to make an official complaint.
