But I have to say I have never been on one where so many topics are "moved"! How is one supposed to decide what belongs on one forum or the other, seems many of the moves are pretty arbitrary.

Admins note>>I complainith not, just highly confused as to what should go where? And then sometimes topics get moved, then get moved back again! Too many hens in the henhouse?

edit: Watch this thread get moved, LOL!

OK, I will tackle this one....

First, if your thread is moved, it is not the end of the world. Second, there are hundreds of posts here per day. If threads happen to get left whereever they land (usually the Male to Female), other threads quickly get buried back on page 2 or even page 3.

You say you don't complain, but then you say that things are moved arbitrarily and use a rolling eyed smilie - no one said the mods here are perfect but they try to keep some sort of order.

I started to type out a section by section guide, but tell you what: why don't you ask specifically whatever it is that casued you to start this thread?

LOL! I told you it would be moved. Really, Dana, I'm not complaining, just observing and commenting.

I *think* it was the "what shoulder do you carry your purse on" thread; I could swear, although I may be confused, that it started out in the mtf forum, moved to the lounge forum, and ended back up in the mtf forum.

I am not bitching about this site, although I am a spiny creature, and sometimes "prick" others the wrong way. The  was more of a "Lord help me to understand" rollyeyes, rather that a "what the heck is in their minds" rollyeyes.

I am sorry, I have caused you more headaches in a few days than maybe others, and that's not my intent. I think it's just because I felt so at home, so quickly, that I act like I am around family. Crossdressing wasn't acepted in my family, but it was, despite that, a good family to me because, by cracky, everyone spoke their mind pretty much all the time. Not in a mean way, but no one was too shy to speak their opinion.

That's just my style. I wish I could be voted "Most Congenial", but I don't think that's gonna happen.

But again, my apologies, and I will try not to be such a pain in the arse in the future. I really do love you all, you know.

Dear Tracy;
Is this another case of when in Rome do as the Romans? The routing and systems are complicated, or at least seem so to a cyber-novice, self included, and we just try to work it out on this end as best as possible. Liked the the remark about "spiny." So good to hear from you, and hope to do so again.

fondest regards.

Just to clear up a point here, the thread you are referring to has only been moved once, from The Lounge to Male to Female.

So, yes, you are confused.

We get lots and lots of new threads and posts all the time, sometimes it's kinda iffy about where it belongs, so we make a judgement call and move it. There are some members who take it quite personal, so sorry and such, we're just trying to keep some balance of order to the chaos.

So, yes, you are confused.Quite correct Sharon and I moved it as Sam-antha asked me to move it to the mtf section ;)

We have so many things to deal with daily, things you don't see, things that take up a lot of times. Moving threads is one of the very last things we do and we very rarely move them back to a forum unless specificially asked with good reason. And your thread was posted in the wrong section, you should have posted it here, since this is where we discuss forum issues, the lounge is for off topic threads. You might not see it as complaining, but when you have to deal with the daily running of this forum, you might then understand why these kind of 'nit picking' threads get up the staffs nose.
