For me I find that when I am drinking the alcohol brings out my more femme side, and my body responds more sexually as a result. I like to get fully dressed when I am drinking. I tend to me more daring when I have a few drinks. The alcohol tends to brake down all those inhabitations I would normally feel about getting dressed up, but I am concerned with the fact that I might be drinking to much as a result.

I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say about this... Love Nicole

For me alcohol does not play a part. I can only really 'dress' in the morning when house is empty, so that is not really a time to drink. The wife is happy for me to wear lacy thongs when we have sex. That often involves alcohol while watching porn so there maybe a link. I'd certainly be more willing to tell her what i'd really like to wear after a bottle of wine!

Hi Nicole,

Alcohol does not plan any part since I do not drink.

Hi Nicole,
Sorry, but for me alcohol doesn't play a role since I am often dressed at work underneath my street clothes, and if i'm at home i'm either alone early in the day or with my female partner at night. However, a toke certainly enhances the experience and the mood! Cheers, Bill

Alcohol plays no part in my crossdressing. I am stimulated by the inner desire alone. Are you sure this isn't just an excuse for your drinking or dressing ?

Alcohol has never played a part, but I don't drink often, so heaven know's what I'd be with a few drinks inside me.

I would love to go out dressed and get pissed like I see alot of young girls doing when I go to clubs/pubs. It would be great kissing someone in a pub, pissed as I could get away with a lot more. I often see girls drunk, with some guy pulling their skirt up and pleasuring them.Lucky things(wish it was me, only with a women pulling my skirt up pleasuring me)

Stelli stopped drinking some years ago. I can drink socially, even dressed but it will be totally unrelated.

Normally when I drink I pass out. :D

Seriously though drinking has no bearing on my CDing, if it did I'd have to question my reasons for doing so.

(sorry all it's an old thread but I thought it deserved comment)

I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say about this... Love NicoleHi Nicole. While I do not need alcohol to enjoy dressing up or to feel more femme, I do tend to enjoy a drink or two when I dress. It tends to relax me more and bring a little glow to my evening.

If you are concerned that you might have a drinking problem, then you may actually have one. You shouldn't feel that you need alcohol to break down the inhibitions about dressing. You are who you are and you shouldn't need to feel guilt or shame for just expressing the other side of you. For us CD's it is a part of us and it needs to be expressed.

Enjoying a drink while dressing is one thing and actually needing several drinks to deal with your inhibitions or guilt is entirely another. Not saying you shouldn't drink at all, but maybe you should examine more closely why you feel you have to drink to eliminate those negative feelings and maybe try dressing for awhile sans alcohol. Maybe you'll discover that you are really a strong enough individual to not actually need it as a crutch. Give it a try and good luck to you.

Hugs,

Christine

I agree with Christine here. If drinking plays this kinda role in your dressing then it's probably a problem. And the fact you're asking others as to whether it plays a part in their dressing tells me your questioning your drinking. Anytime anyone HAS to drink or can't resist the URGE to drink--they have a problem. Are there other's in your family with drinking problems or substance abuse problems? If so, you are treading on thin ice.

I have often had a fantasy similar to this. :D

Normally, alcohol plays no role, but a few weeks ago I got fully dressed, opened a bottle of chablis, lit candles and put some classical music on.

IT.....WAS.....DIVINE.....

I just sort of sat around the house and surfed the net, paid some bills, read a book, etc. Nothing sexual at all, really. I was fully aware the whole time that I was dressed, so I wasn't really "in the zone," but it was great anyway.

Not much of a person for alcohol. Too scared for a migraine attack and then I don't want to take the necessary medication for it.

I think I am a total teetotaller while being myself. As him, I may have a bit of Rose once in a while ...

I never drink while alone. My preferred beverage is coffee - black.

I have no real desire to drink while dressed, and drinking does not bring out the feeling that I need to dress.

I imagine that I would be a little more flighty and spinny if I did have a few glasses of wine.

I wouldn't say drinking plays a role in my dressing. However, several times I would get dressed and sit back with a glass of wine, a rum and coke, or something softer like that, never a beer or margarita as my male side drinks. Just something about sitting and sipping wine with your legs crossed that makes you feel all nice and femme. Course it probably had something to do with me watching Soaps during the summer days while I was dressed, all those people do on those is drink...lol. I would even have a cigarette from time to time even though I don't smoke. It was nice to see the lipstick stain, soo sexy.

Drinking and dressing? I used to think this was a good idea but it got me into more trouble than good. I only drink once every so often while dressed, usually wine, but I don't get too far, cause I always have to get undressed by the end of the night. :(
