Is there a way of getting more font colors instead of just the standard 40 ?

Sure. You just have to write the color in hex. For example, in my signature I've got color=#CC33CC. The web safe color pallette will give you 216 colors to play with. webmonkey has a good chart here (http://webmonkey.wired.com/webmonkey/reference/color_codes/). Just copy and paste the Hex Color value for the color you want. That should give you some decent options.

If you're familiar with RGB colors I can tell you how to turn any RGB color into its hex equivalent.
