Just to let you all know, the forum was moved onto another server yesterday, but suffered a few minor hiccups along the way. All is resolved now and hopefully we should now have a much faster forum ;) Thanks Admin :hugs:

As always the work being done in the background is invaluable.
We only noticed this time because of a hiccup.
Thanks Tamara, keep up the good work.

Praise the machine! All honour to Mr Gates and to the chip and processor designers at Intel, to the operators of the server and to the various ISPs.
BTW did you know that when Felix Mendelssohn wrote the tune which was to become the Christmas Carol "Hark the Herald Angels sing" it was originally dedicated to the invention of the (Movable Type) printing Press by Johann Gutenberg, as revolutionary an advance in communications technology as the Internet has been for us. As I said, "Praise the Machine"!

The speed is great, but something odd is up with the order in which posts to threads are getting stacked. I just tried to post below another post that was at least 5 minutes earlier than my reply, and ended up ahead of it.
Guess if we can do gender in reverse, we can handle the time thing ;)

I just made this post and it is timestamped earlier that Tina's post after it:

However, Tina's post was already there before I posted.
Very Strange...

There are still a few problems such as posts going in the wrong order, this is being addressed.

The server seems to have the wrong time.
As I am writing this, the site say it is GMT+2 1:27 PM. My comp (kinda trustworthy) says its GMT+2 1:46 PM.

There does seem to be a few hiccups, I'm sure we had this problem last time we moved servers. Admin has been notified regarding the problems. The forum time does seem to be 20 mins slow, not sure if that's what is causing the posting issues. Will let you know soon as I know something.

I had problems with my posts ending up in the middle of threads, I don't know if this will work for all of you (and it doesn't fix the time stamp problem) but I cleared out my internet cache (temp internet files) and seems to be ok now.
