I think this has to do with your web browser letting you know that it's showing you the page from memory, even though it "knows" that there's new information to download and display. So it's suggesting that you "refresh" the screen if you want to see the latest post.

Your browser is probably set to not re-download the page every time you go back to it. The reason for setting it that way would be to enable you to browse more quickly, rather than pausing to re-download every time you go back to a page.

You can probably get into the settings and change them, if you want.

You can try it but I don't think it will fix a slow image load problem. I'd try to hit the site in another browser and see if it exhibits the same behavior. If it doesn't then you will know it is an issue with that specific browser.
