This newest feature, where the list of threads on top is a big pain. On one thread in the lounge I had to click 3 times on the "more threads below this one" to get to the most recent post. Very Un user friendly. Why is it that everything that is new and improved is never as good as the old version???
No hugs for this one, Christine

Christine, I have no idea to what you are referring, the forum looks like it always has to me. To get to the most recent post in a thread, all you need to do is click the little arrow (or >) next to the person's name in the Last Post column...

This is what I am referring to

To see the last post it works fine to click on the arrow, but if you want to see the last few it can be a real pain. I'm not trying to be a pain but the old way with the page 1,2,3 etc worked really well and I don't see why it was changed. Like they say if it aint broke dont fix it.

Christine, go to your User CP, then Edit Options. Go down to Thread Display Options, and set it on Linear - somehow you have yours set on Threaded.

That should fix you up...... if you have always used Threaded, and it has changed, then I don't know - I have always used Linear and it is the same as it gas always been.

I did that and it did not work. Then I noticed that after you click on a thread there is a "display modes" option box on that top. That also has to be changed to linear.

Christine, you must have changed your settings, maybe by accident, because upgrading the forum would not have changed the way you view the forum. There has always been those 3 view options since the forum was created, it's not a new feature +?

I corrected the setting, and changed it in the thread options when opening the thread but the tree kept coming up.
What worked to finally get rid of it was to delete the cookie from crossdressers.com in my cookies folder. If anyone else has the problem that cookie has to be deleted to get rid of the tree once and for all
