Why do certain forums require membership (excluding GG forum.) Why not just open it up to everyone? I say this mostly, because i have seen in threads about how slow these forums are lately and maybe they'd get more traffic.
Just a thought.
Ok so more then one question. Can you make it to where the font that we prefer is kept in memory so we don't have to keep changing it from this plain black?
Also is there a way to stop the forums from showing up that we don't want to view. What i mean is instead of clicking on the arrow to close them up make it an option so we don't have to keep doing that?

Deborah,
Forums have to have membership to prevent the kids and ijjuts posting anonymous faecal matter etc.
Cannae give an answer for the other two Q's.
Cheers,

Question two I like, but personal changes would sort of lose the continuity of a thread. For me its a No.
Question three I like, because I am lazy. But it would stop me wondering what is in the other sections. For me, perhaps, leave it.

I prefer for the forums to require membership. When membership is required it means that my post are not open for the whole world to see. If a person is not a member, then they are not much more than a lurker.
Sometimes when I am responding to a post, I will stop in the middle of my post and say to myself, wait, maybe I don't want the whole world to read this. This is one reason that my post count has dropped in the mtf forum and my post have been less personal within that forum.
If a person in real life were to approach me and let me know that they are aware of who I am in the forums, I can reply with a comment that lets them know that I too know they must be a member in good standing or they would not have that information. So we both have our little secrets don't we. I would never spread gossip about them as I am sure they would never do the same to me. It puts us on a level playing field.
If this were my forum, the Lounge would be open and the mtf would be for members only.
Just my personal thoughts and opinions here, I'm not trying to complain to the admin or anything like that. This is not my site and I assure you I don't know how to run a better website. As far as crossdressing websites go, this is the best one I have ever found.
