It won't affect the forums, except for being able to access them from the website. You'll only have to sign up there if the admin makes people sign up for an account to access the content. There's nothing there to access now other than just linking you to these forums. I wouldn't worry about it for now.

Excuse my continued interest, but always assumed that domain ownership was a more or less unchanging thing based on who got there first. Is a purchase price just a negotiated thing in a free market? Would say 6 figures buy a popular one?...much less?....much more? If six figures, then an individual could go shopping....if in the millions, then it's effectively limited to corporations and maybe Donald Trump.

Yeah a purchase price is just a negotiated thing in the free market.

Some domains can go for 6 figures. Many for 5 figures. But a lot of smaller domains can be had rather cheap.
