Pix life

I have been browsing in the dim and distant past of this forum... nothing new in that I suppose, but this time I found that a number of the older pix were just not there.
Does anybody know if there is a shelf life to our pix ?

Members remove them themselves ;) As far as I'm aware, they stay in the attachments folder unless a member deletes them, they don't have a timeline on them.
