This thread is specifically for all forum news. The staff will add to this thread when anything changes, new sections, new mods, new features etc.... It will be locked and only the staff will be able to post in it.

New Moderator: -

Dancinginthedark GG has been added as a moderator for the - GG forum, lounge and new member intros.

A new section has been created today, it is a sub section of the lounge called - Birthdays, Anniversarys, Milestones etc.. (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=51) This section has been created as the lounge seems to be dominated by the threads in this new sections description.

The staff would like to also remind members, that threads posted in the lounge should be only if they cannot be posted in the other sections, including the private sections. For example, if you post a thread in the lounge, which could be posted in the News section, it will be moved there. If you are not a member, you will not be able to view your thread until you become a member of that private section. This also applies to all other sections of the forum.

Just letting you all know, the calender (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/calendar.php) has been updated. You may need to reset the month to January 2007 using the Jump to month
menu. I've only just realised it was only listing up to Dec 2006 ;)

A new subsection of the MTF section has been created today - Clothing Talk - this section is for the discussion of clothing, shoes, jewellery and wigs.

Google Search has been implemented on the forum. You can find it at the bottom of every page or here: -

The shopping section has now been merged with Clothing talk. All threads have been moved to that section.

Clothing talk has also been made a seperate section from the MTF section and is now on the front page. Remember, all are welcome to post in that section, FTM's too ;)

Due to her inability to come on site much for quite some time now, due to real world conflicts, Swiss Susan is no longer a member of the moderating staff. If her situation changes, she always has an open invitation to rejoin as she did a wonderful job and was well liked.

Due to the constant arguing, flaming etc in the News and Political Forum, it has been unanimously decided by the staff that it will no longer be a part of our forum. This is not up for debate, any threads debating this decision will be removed. Any non TG news/political threads will also be deleted. There are plenty of other forums to discuss topics like this, it will not be allowed anymore on this forum.

The section has now been closed and removed.

I've temporary fixed our picture issue, it seems the thumbnail view is having an issue with certain sizes, so for now, I've turned thumbnail viewing off and put a size limit 600 width x 500 length on all picture attachments.

We will be upgrading to the newer version soon, this may recitify the problem, if not, then I'm afraid the new size limit will have to stay, anything bigger than that will mess up the forum layout.

Just a note, I've just noticed that pictures aren't showing unless you attach them, you do this by clicking the paperclip icon after you have uploaded the picture and attach it into the post. If you've attached it correctly, you will see something like this: - 12345

We have a new section called Out and About for all your pictures and/or stories of special events being out in the world. E.G. clubs, shopping, visiting other peoples homes, events etc.

There is a new private male-to-female TS section that will be open for private membership today. It is called "Safe Haven," and membership will reserved for forum transsexuals and those who feel they may be transsexuals. And, no, we will not be attempting tp verify whether someone is actually a male-to-female TS or not.

At some point(perhaps in a month or so), all threads in the MtF Transitioning section will be moved to the new section, and the Transitioning section will be removed from the forum.

Any member who wishes to join the new section is encouraged to apply and I hope the new section serves its purpose well. I also encourage any feedback this new section may arouse.

The public Transsexual and Body Issues sections will remain as they are -- open to all members. The private Female-to-Male Transitioning will also remain unaffected.

Auto Moderation PM Installed.

As you know, we are constantly editing, moving, deleting etc posts/threads/attachments on the board and PM'ing everyone each time it is done can take up a lot of time. Forum Admin will send you a PM if any of the following is done to your threads/posts/attachments. So Auto Moderation has now been installed and this is what it does :)

I've changed the smilies around today and added/deleted a few, because many of them aren't used, so I'm using the space to replace them. However, this will cause a bit of a mess on the board, so if you've used a smilie in your signature that I've removed, you will need to edit it ;)

Az_azeel pointed out to me today an issue with the signature only allowing 1 image... this is an error and I've now fixed it. You can have up to 10 images including bb code, sig pics etc... So.. to Debs... I know you're reading this... you can have more than one now :tongueout
