Its funny, I gotta chuckle about this and so I thought I'd share this little story.

Today, I went to a medical clinic to get some x-rays done.
I was in drab wearing business casual khaki pants; dark red colored polo with baby blue stripes; and loafers; and when I finished registering my patient info with the clerk, she said for me to go ahead sit and wait for my name to be called. Then, she ended the conversation with calling me "ma'am". Once she realized what she said, she chuckled and said "Opps! Sir".

I kind of chuckled too and then found an open seat.
I wasn't offended by it at all, I just said to my myself "She must know that I dress. Now how did she know that?"
Anyway, I thought it was kind of funny.

That is indeed weirdly amusing Joann. I'm guessing that her reaction originated from her sub-conscious mind, which makes me wonder if you've finally merged so well with your femme-side that you're now putting out female pheromones?!?!?

[ Just kidding, but what if we could do that?? What a boost for passing it could be (in tight quarters anyway) for us! ] :heehee:

Hugz,

Veronica

P.S.- Or maybe you're just getting too damn pretty!! ;)

You weren't getting a mammogram, were you? Just kidding! I wish I could send out that kind of signal, and I am sure a whole lot of us would like to do so!

Hey, it happens, embrace it.

Was sitting en drab, short hair, with my wife on a plane a few weeks ago and the flight attendant asked what us ladies would like to drink.

Then it happened again a few days later in a New York bar. It felt kind of nice to be recognized when not even dressed.

Thinking along the same lines as Veronica, maybe we give off some kind of aura that people detect subconsciously.

Thank you for your comments everyone!

You girls are too funny! Ha ha!
Unfortuantely, I didn't get a mammogram, but instead it was for x-rays and an MRI for my lower back.
I got the x-rays done, but I couldn't go through the closed MRI because I was feeling a little claustrophobic. In addition to that, I couldn't get comfy laying flat on my back for a long period of time (estimated 30+ minutes), with it hurting and all, so I just had to get out or else I would freak out because of the pain.

Yeah. I never thought I could pass this well without even trying. Who would've thought?
Maybe my femme side is merging with my male side and I'm not noticing it, but I swear I wasn't wearing any makeup!
Believe me!! :)
It would be really sweet if I could dress all the time, but I can't. However, I'll take a ma'am any time.

Hugs!

Good thing you didn't get the mammogram.

They hurt, are dangerous, can give false positives and don't always detect when there are problems.

But they make lots and lots of money for the companies that make the machines and the clinics that use them.

It happens to me all the time, but then again I have naturally long hair, and a more feminine shaped body and face. People do glance at me and mistake me for female, especially if I'm clean shaved. The funny part is they always seem to apologize as if be called "miss' was an insult, when inside, they don't realize, I consider it a compliment. LOL~!

It has happen to me on occasion. One day wife, sister, and I going to the casino which is about 1.5 hr drive from here. One the way we stopped of breakfest and the waitress kept asking "What us ladies would like to eat ane ect". This drew an eyebrow from my sister, but nothing was said. Then at lunch at the casino, it happen again. My wife looked at me and said, "Guess yor a lady now". All three of us laughed. Then just the other day, it happened again but this time it was just wife and I.
I tend to dress very agro on the weekends. Wonder if the waitress is subconcoiensely picking up on my clothing.

The same thing happened to me< drab mode of course> at work. This guy came up to me and said "Excuse me Miss". He blushed and quickly apologized, To be honest I loved it. One day I hope the same thing happens when I'm at some Tg niteclub completely en femme.

Be careful around X-rays they can detect panties at 20 yards.
