hi ladies I just thought i would ask if any of you had someone who dressed you when you were little or a teenager. That was always a dream of mine but it never happened so i thought i would ask to hear the others stories.

A girl friend of mine as a kid would always play dress up with me, but never fully dressed. We just made silly, and ridiculous outfits with her clothes, none of it was actually fully dressing, but it was still fun none the less.

My older sister (by 4 years) used to dress me up to have tea parties. There are some old pics of me in pretty dresses with VERY sloppy makeup - funny stuff. I was very young, but I don't remember NOT wanting her to dress me up, and I'm sure if I'd protested my Mom would have called a halt to the proceedings. Mom did put a stop to it for hr own reasons when I was 5 or 6, but at 8 I was stealing nylons out of the wash. I'm not saying it was cause and effect, I'm sure there are many more men who aren't CD's whose sisters or mothers dressed them up as girls a few times when they were young.

My earliest dressing, which hardly counts except to those like ourselves who think it is significant, was wearing my mother's hats and scarves and rings from her dresser, or her old high heels from deep in the closet. Later, probably when about 9, a neighbor boy encouraged me to dress in his mother's clothes, with him, and then we went out and stood on the front porch of his house in the early 1950's style dresses, for a while. That was it - but you will note I haven't forgotten!

When I was little (that was a loooong time ago) my grandma used to put a dress on me to play in, so I wouldn't get my little boy clothes dirty. She had an abundance of girl clothes, and I didn't have very many boy clothes. Since I was usually playing with my sister and her friends, I didn't care. They treated me as "one of the girls."

When I was about four and my older sister was about ten she dressed me up as her little sister.
I only vaguely remember it but do remember going into her room when I was older and taking some of her stockings.
Trying on her swimsuits in the basement, or sneeking into her room when my mother woule be in the kitchen getting supper ready and wearing her pantygirdle.
My mother would always say she would get me my own but it never happen.
Even now I enjoy dressing as a woman and would like to come clean to my sister but I really think she would consider it being sick or in need of a mental check up.

I often wore one of my cousin's dresses when we played with our dolls together and my mom dressed me in girls several times including just about every Halloween from around age 7 to early teens. I was asked, "Why aren't you wearing a costume" several times, while trick or treating. My cousin who often went with me, dressed as a boy took great pleasure in answering for me. She would say, "He is wearing a costume, he is a boy." At first, I wore my regular underwear, but after the first couple of times, I acquired some feminine underwear that I wore under my dresses.

I started dressing in my mother's clothes, mostly stockings, panties, pantyhose, when I was in my early teens.

I also had a fetish for lipstick. I think a lot of my early urges came from some of the old paperback porn novels I had found hidden under my parents bed.

When I was about 4 or 5 I had a babysitter who would dress me up in her little sister's clothes and we would play house. She told me a lot about sex and what "some" women like for their men to do ie crossdress. She never sexually assualted me or touched or anything like that. She just liked to dress boys as girls and I assume men as women in her later life. Growing up I would wear my mom's bras and panties and later some of my sister's clothes.
When I met my wife she asked if she could dress me as a woman on about our 4th or 5th date, I of course said yes after protesting midly to assert my "manhood":heehee:. Any way I still dress, my wife thinks it's cute that I enjoy it so much.

I had a cousin that would dress me up. The first time, I dressed as much as she had clothes for me. I remember, hose, bra, dress, a little makeup. I loved it. I showed off in front of everyone. My mom and aunt just laughed. My uncle came home from work, saw me, and appeared to be disgusted. I told my dad about it later and he wasn't too keen on the idea either.

Later, I used to dress in my step mom's clothes. I think she might have guessed, but I never knew for sure.

This would be the same woman that scarred me for life at 3.5 for putting on my sister's dress.

She would argue that it "made no difference" and that "clothes in the boys dept didn't come in my proportions" and that "no one can tell the difference" when she wanted me to accept some girl clothes when she couldn't find boy clothes to fit my 30 inch inseam and 24 inch waist.

Just one time. My older sisters dressed me up in one of their full slips (when I was 4 or 5) and made me go 'model' for my parents. There is still photo evidence of this somewhere, and it is brought up sometimes during family gatherings. I guess I made quite an impression! :D

The only other time was for halloween at around the same age. My mom dressed me as an old lady in a black dress, tights, heels and long gray wig. I don't remember any makeup being involved, but there may have been some lipstick. I remember going out to a neighborhood halloween party in the costume as well as trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. The only memory I still have of the costume itself was being frustrated, since the tights were WAY too big for me and kept sagging down.

Thinking back on it now, I can't help to wonder what my father thought of his only son going out 'in drag' at 5 years old. :)

It wasn't long after this that I have one of my first memories of wanting to crossdress. I wonder if the incidents are related. I remember my sisters getting very pretty party dresses to play in, and I was jealous since I just had my plain old 'boy clothes'. I followed them around wishing I had a dress like theirs.

Janet,
That is a wonderful story. I was at the local nail salon several weeks ago and there was a mother with her two children... one boy and one girl about 5 or 6 years old. The mother and the girl were getting a pedicure with pink nail polis on their toes and the little girl was really enjoying the experience. The boy watches with intrigue as the nail tech did the pedicure for his mom and sister. It is too bad that the mom didn't allow the little boy to get a matching pink pedicure. Mothers should think of these kind of things.

Back in the early to mid 60's I remember Better than HALF the boys trick or treated dressed as girls/women. (I was scared to myself. Drat!, in retrospect, I likely have gotten away with it with no trouble at all.)

Perhaps why thre was so much "CDing" may have been due to the greater degree of "Sexual Dymorphisim" in those decades. I remember reading in a Mitchum novel That CDing was a big and usually culturally accepted thing in countries (usually oriental and mid east) with a high degree of Sexual dimorphisim.

That may exp;ain the high number of us CDers in the ranks of us who came up in the 50's and 60's

I guess that when I was around five - my older sister would have some of her friends over to play and they would dress me to look like her little sister - underwear, dresses, bobby pins, knee high socks and some makeup. I guess that I played along and would stay dressed all day long - kind of makes me wonder if I would have started dressing on my own or my sisters forced hand in the matter was the sole reason for my dressing today?

When I was 9 my Mom dressed me as a girl for Halloween I had expressed boredom at the fun of boy costuming I had done Pirate Ghost Skeleton etc so she said how about going as a girl and I "reluctantly" agreed I insisted on the correct underware and she had already bought a pantie and vest set and a lacy slip Best trick or treating ever

hi shelly, this is jill. i'm 62 and been dressing since i was 15. here is my story. when i was 7 my cousin dared my to wear panties and a dress. i took the dare and put on the girls clothes. i was scared but at the same time excited because i liked the way the panties felt on my skin. i had three older sisters so i could experiment with their clothes. i never dressed all the way until i was 15 and i was hooked. i loved playing a girl. i had a female friend in high school who would sometimes let me wear her panties and lipstick.at 16 i decided to go to a halloween party as a girl and my friend helped me feminize. it was kind of crude but the best i had at the time. she let me wear her panties, bra, and a pink party dress. she borrowed a wig that ended up being too big but i wore it anyway. for my boobs we filled balloons with cooking oil, and stuffed them into the bra.she also helped me with makeup, but even with all the clothes boobs and makeup, i didn't look feminine enough to be believable. the party was a success, and i won a prize for my "costume", but i still didn't come off as the girl i wanted to be. my friend moved with her family after high school and we lost touch, but after all these years i still have fond memories of my dress up times with her and the haloween party.
still the wannabe girl, Jill

Hi Shelly, ever since i can remember my late mother would dress me up in my older sisters clothes. This would happen on a weekly basis,on a Sunday evening, when my father was in chapel.I remember it as our treat as she would dress me in a green velvet dress with white patterned collar, pink knickers and vest, white socks and black sandals. As i got older this progressed to bra, pettycoat, stockings and girdle - and it has'nt changed since!!!! Unfortunately it stopped when i went to secondary school,or so she thought, as under my school uniform i would wear the girdle and stockings, but not on P.E.day!! I still do so to this day.

When my cousion came in, so we could all play. Then all of the sudden it stoped when i was 9yr. And mom said that crssdressing was wrong and that i dont need to do it. O well Im 20yr and I still belive im a girl and now that I am out of school I dont care to act more girly on a regular basics now, I REALLY WANT TO BE A GIRL NOW. But thats my story and I love it.

Good question. I have lots, somewhere. Thanks for asking, I intend to find those! I was the first baby in my mom's family for several years, so her youngest sister and my older cousing used to entertain themselves by dressimg me. I had nice long blonde hair, and they used to give me 'Tony Home Perms". Then I grew up, turned 6 years old, wnet to school and had to 'be a man'.
I just remembered how i loved my mom's brown open-toed shoes, that I used to wear regularly, until I outgrew them in grade 4 or 5. But then I grew into my favourite bra, a strapless 36C that I know I wore more than my mom did. My Mom's oldest sister did a Swedish version of Charlie Chaplinthat was a local favourite, so I guess crossdressing runs in the family. w

My first time of properly wearing girls clothes (as opposed to just sneaking into my Moms bedroom to try on one of her bras or skirts) was when I was 15. My first serious girlfriend dressed me up in her clothes "just for fun" in her bedroom when I went around her house one time. She thought it was funny and then added some eye makeup on me too. I was scared stiff at the time as her Mom could have come in at any moment.

Yes, my mother, who started dressing me in my older sisters outgrown clothes, from panties to dresses, including girl shoes, when I was 4 or 5. She demanded I also learn the art of housekeeping, laundry, and washing dishes. I became her "little sissy maid" until I was about 12 and she loved it. Maybe this is where I got my need to CD. Chari

I remember when i was 5 or six our freinds next door would invite us over and tell us kids to go down stairs and play. The older girls would always dress me up in all sorts of dresses, skirts, etc. I remember one time we were dressed up and there aunt and uncle came over and they introduced me as diane. i stayed dressed all day and even eat dinner with them. My mother was told about it and she thought it was funny. and I still dress today with my wife helping me now and even kept the name.

When I was about 3, my sister and cousin dressed me like a little baby girl. I went to a big reunion for my cousins grandfather, and my cousins cousins, who we would sometimes see over the years, recalled those times when they dressed me. It seems I'm always kidded about that time.

Later, I would try one womens clothes when the opportunity arose, but I don't remember doing it a lot. I do remember having fantasies about wearing womens underwear when I was very young.

I see a pattern here, For me it started when I was 5 or 6 I used to stay with my aunt and grandmother alot . I would sneek into my aunt's make-up while she was at work and put on lipstick and watch Sally Star. I remember a few times my mom would put a wig on me and some red lipstick she even took a pic of me brushing a dolls hair. One halloween she dressed me up as RaggdyAnn doll, little patent black girl school shoes, black and white dress with ruffles. bright red cheeks and of course red lipstick. I remember being so happy going out trick or treating like this. I was a pirate for a school halloween party and out came the red lipstick and now Mascara and eye shadow and liner, I was about 8 then. When I stayed with my mom about 10 or 12 yrs old I would get into her girtles and stockings and pantyhoses.
The mascara that didn't wash off , thank got for todays make-up..

I started polishing my toes , I remember silver the most . @ 17 I went to live on my own and kept dressing, I was popular and have lots of friends the knock on the door and the memories of me running into the bathroom to wash off the make-up is all to well, I just know someone saw me running in my pantyhose and bra back then :heehee: I wasn't a fast runner and the door was always unlocked :p
and because of finding this site I have stepped to the next level of dressing Thanks

I never really had anyone that would help me dress. I did get my little brother and sister sometimes to play with me when I was dressed a few times. But I think that it was only because they was so bored that it beat doing nothing! I had to be descrete and out of sight whenever I dressed. My parents forbid me to ever wear girls clothes or do anything girlish. They was raising a son not some sissy faggot boy.

I was swiping my mother's underclothes from age 9 right through to leaving home at 19. She had a suitcase full of old clothes - slips, petticoats and pantyhose etc - which became "mine". I used to cut off the legs of the pantyhose so I could wear them under my boys shorts.

My mother knew but never said anything except a few cryptic remarks over the years.

Also went to a few crossdressing parties in my teens - I loved these and felt "perfect" all night.

I have a picture of me as a baby in a carriage in a girl's bonnet. AT age 4, my sister started putting lipstick on me. Iwould do it every time her friends came over to play. But, that's where it ended as far as others dressing me up- but that was due to my stupid pride, which I now deeply regret.

I'm afraid I must have had a deprived childhood because no one took the time or effort to dress me as a girl :heehee:

I went to a boys only Secondary School.

They had a drama dept and regularly put on plays - including Shakespeare who as you know wrote for an all male cast. There is a lot of gender switching in his plays .. a male actor plays a female who is impersonatiing a man .... great stuff !!

I played Titania (Great name!) at the age of 13 and Juliette at 14.
and Portia at 16 :)

The drama tutors wife did the costumes and makeup and coached mem in sitting and bending down (at the knees and not the waist lol). I think she guessed I enjoyed the dressing and would always call me by my character name during fittings, makeup trials and rehearsals.

My Bra fillings were balloons filled with bird seed !

I also played in the school rugby team - so I never was bullied or teased about regularly playing a girl in the plays. No one (except for Mrs Trobridge) suspected my motives for being in the Drama Group.

Because I got older and taller, younger boys were cast in later productions. But at least I still got to wear tights :)

Happy days :)

I don't remember having been dressed "as a girl" when I was a smal boy. However, I remember seeing some beautiful curls in my hair when I was about three...

Later on, during the late seventies, I left my hair grow. I still had beautiful curls. More than one women told me that they were envious of my hair...

Unfortunately I don't have my curly hair anymore, but a big baldt spot on the top of my head...

For those of my generation (I'm age 78), the boys were put in dresses for their bapisma; ceremonies. I have pictures of myself (looking like a lovely infant girl) in my baptismal dress. Other boys wore those, too.

And, in those Depression years, it was not unusualy boy infant boys up to age 2 or so to be put in dresses.

I remember none of myself in those dresses. But the pictures perhaps were a precursor of the girl that lingered within me.

When I was ten, I asked to be a girl for Halloween, and my mom was very cooperative--she made me a wonderful outfit from the Goodwill. We had a parade at the local playground, and after that the woman there would sometimes give me girl's things that had been left in lost & found for a while. I guess she intuitively knew how much I loved them!

I have read the answers to your thread. My experience was a little different, and a lot the same as the others. I was born during the great depression of the 1930's, with little money for boys clothes, and an older sister, and cousins all girls, I was dressed in their hand me down clothes. In those days girls did not wear jeans, or slacks, so it was not until I had to dress as a boy for school that I had my first pair of pants. Even then I still wore pink panties under my pants, and changed into a dress as soon as I got home. Since my only playmates were my sister, my cousins, and their girlfriends, I always felt that I was a girl.

I was 3 or 4 when my friend Jack's sister dressed us up and then we went around the neighborhood and everyone talked about how nice and pretty we were. The next day I asked Jack if he wanted to dress again because I did. He looked at me funny and then I knew I was different. I haven't stopped wanting to since for the next 55 years. I am sure I was already tg and the dressing allowed for me to express myself

Hi Katherine; As another depression baby I was dressed as a girl until I had to start school. It was more economic than anything else according to my mom. Since I was the youngest and all my cousins, and sister were girls and loder than me there were lots of hand me down dresses, but no pants. If you remember girls did not wear pants either slacks or jeans till late in the 1940's. Guess you can thank Katherine Hepburn for that.

Looking at your picture, I can see why they gave you the female roles :thumbsup:

Hi Alice ... As a Depression Child, born in 1929, I was the oldest of three boys. No girls, but I cherish the picture of me in my baptismal dress. There were no dresses as hand-me-downs here, but I had one (1) pair of Knickers that I wore all school year. We didn't wear long pants until 6th grade. I had skinny legs and arms and was not much good at sports, and when I discovered some of my mom's old dresses in attic, I found myself in heaven. It seems I was "made: for girl clothes. My mother was also named Alice, by the way.

My sister dressed me up from the time I was a baby. Wedding dresses, tutus, etc. And applied makeup too.
Although it wasn't until the last few years that I became interested in cding.
Now, she's the only that knows. She's a professional makeup artist for Shiseido, so she's given me a lot of free makeup!! :D

hi Kathrine;

If you remember the good, or bad, old days, you remember that boys got 1 pair of pants for school, 1 suit for church, parties, etc., 2 shirts, 2 ties, 1 pair of shoes, 1 winter coat, 1 light coat for spring/fall. Girls got party dresses, school dresses, skirts. blouses, at least 2 pair of shoes 1 for dress, 1 for play, etc. Right from the start girls had it better than boys clothes wise. I already told you that I was dressed in hand me down dresses till I had to dress male for school. Since I only had 1 pair of school pants, as soon as I got home from school I would have to take them off so they would last, and put on a hand me down skirt. Since I was a shy child and had no boyfriends my playmates were my sister, my cousins, and their girlfriends. I never learned how to play baseball, but I was great at jump rope, and hopscotch. Even though I had boy's clothes for school I did not have boy's underwear until high school when I had to take gym and change in a locker room. BY the way the woman I married, who died 7 years ago, was the younger sister of one of the girls I played with as a child so my wearing skirts was no surprise to her.

my earliest memories of probably younger than 4 or 5 were of running upstairs and stealing my moms bra's and then hiding behind the couch and putting them on. got caught many many many times and eventually my mom got quite annoyed with it. then as i got older i began taking her pantyhose and dresses and around early high school got my first wig. It was all uphill from there. I guess compared to most of you ladies i still am a young one!! :tongueout

I had no sisters...but on my dads side of the family my brother and I were the only Grandsons out of 15 grandchildren and on my moms side of the family all were boys but 2 granddaughters....my mother in later years told me she always wanted a daughter...as far back as I can remember mom would give me old clothes to play with hats,heels,dresses,ect....makeup and jewelery and as I grew older I let my hair grow very long...mother and I would go shopping every saturday all day long go to lunch..
she told me later in my teens she always knew I was different and she was Ok with it and I suppose my father was also he never forced me to play sports or help him work on the cars I helped mom in the house cooking and cleaning...sewing,crafts and all those kind of things ....it's like this was always the way it was supposed to be....

In 10th grade a girlfriend dressed me up for an initiation into a sporting club in High school. I "had" ware her babydoll Pj’s over my drab clothes during the school day.

When we got home, off with the drab clothes and into panties and make up. I was also made to shave my legs with dog clippers. I would have rather shaved with a razor for closeness.

I was not supposed to like it but I did. I never told her how much I loved it. I also remember trading clothes with by neighbor girl when we were about 5

This question has got me thinking about some of my early memories. Things I have'nt thought about in years.I have 2 brothers, one older and 1 younger. When we were preschoolers we spent most of our time with our mom, grandmother ,or greatgrandmother. I remember playing dressup and playing with dolls.I dont really remember the clothes, but they must have been womens, what else would have been available.I'm sure we were encouraged and played with in this way.Maybe this was because there were no girls and I know my mom allways wanted a girl. She was hoping my younger bro would be a girl.Alas,You take what you get. When we started school and were out in the world,we sort of just grew out of it.I remember playing with lots of costume jewelry, putting on earrings and such. when I was older I remember sometimes my mom would have me wear her high heel dress shoes around the house to help break them in. We were the same size then. Thanks for bringing back these wonderful memories. Hugs Barb

No-one dressed me as such but when I was around 9, I used to stay with my Nan for long periods (my Mum and Dad were in a band together that spent a lot of time on the road) and she used to set my hair in rollers.

I remember the first time she did it, I threw a huge tantrum and threw them all across the room. The second time, she promised to buy me a computer game that I desperately wanted and I went through with it. I remember sitting there with my Nan during Coronation Street, not being able to hear a thing as I had her hairdryer on (one of those inflatable, bonnet ones from the 1960's/1970's) with a hair net and cotton wool pads for each ear.

I don't know why but it really awoke something in me. I began to cherish that time under there. Sometimes, if I wanted to play in the back garden she would tie a headscarf around them which I also loved.

We even used to go to the local ladies hairdressers on occasion when Nan needed a perm. They were a bit reluctant at first to do a boys hair in a Ladies Salon but after a couple of times, they used to look forward to me going there. I remember how the dryer used to be lowered to fit my head inside and some of the ladies used to lift the hood and give me a kiss on the cheek. I've never felt so loved or wanted as I did then.

This continued until I was around 11 when my Mum asked her to stop, saying that I was growing up and needed to be a "little boy". I couldn't let her know that I would have done anything for it to carry on and even have a perm so I just accepted it.

But it awoke something in me. I look back now and I wish as all of you probably do that I could have been put in dresses. My Nan did nothing else that was remotely feminising.

It hurts my heart that i'll never have those days back and i'm incredibly jealous when I walk past a hairdressing salon. They all probably hate being under the dryers but I would give almost everything I have to be able to join them.

No, I was never dressed up by anyone. However, my older brothers and sister locked me inside my mom's closet for several hours. This was a real door with a real key lock (skeleton type key). I was in there for several hours, crying or yelling didn't help any, only made my 'sentence' longer! So to pass the time, there I was feeling all the different fabrics, checking out how different things fastened, etc, eventually I tried on her shoes and boots, but that was all. I felt quite at ease in there, actually, among all the feminine things.

Well, when I was in First and second grade, I had a girl for a friend and we would dress in her dresses and other things. no big deal we would play dress up all the time. and I know her mom and mine did not say anything. Then, when I was 11 I was with my mom at a friend's house for the day. We went tot the beach at a lake and then they were going out somewhere and I was staying there at her house. I of course did not have any dry clothes. They gave me some of her clothes. I got a shirt and shorts and some pink satin bikini panties. My mom gave them to me and then checked them when I changed, I said they felt small and my mom told me that was because they were girls. I was of course very happy about this. They went out and I stayed in for the night. We went home the next day and I then changed and put the panties in the wash, Later they were folded and back in my dresser drawer, I can not remember what exactly happen, I know that I got to wear them at least 1 more time and when my mom asked, I said something dumb like they were in my drawer or I did not have something else to wear. Then I never had them back again. It was a month or so later and we were going to my mom's friends house again and staying overnight again. My mom told me to pack extra clothes and I did but I really tired to forget them and but when we were leaving my mom remembered and told me I had to get my clothes or else I would have to wear girls clothes again. I of course would have rather been stuck wearing girls clothes again, It did not happen. That was all for that time. Then when I was 18 my girlfriend and her friend took my clothes when I was in the shower, I was given her bikini (black and white stripe), Since It was at my house I just wore it for them. they then wanted to put makeup on me. I of course let them. It was great fun. We then had to take my girlfiends friend home. I told them I needed some clothes. and I could not figure out where they hid my clothes. I resisted a little because I was shy but I then gave in to wearing a black skirt and top. I then had to go out and drive her home. It was fun and they even got me to go to the drive through at Burger King. They did not really notice anything when we pulled up to the window. I wished it would have happen more often.

As a toddler I was into my mothers lipstick, stilletos suspenders and girdles. Never thought anything of it and probably meant nothing. At about 7 she had a ball gown made for our fancy dress ball at the end of the year (Where all kids got to dress up) She was tired of the same old cowboy costume but I never really figured why she decided on the dress? (Ive never thought about asking her either and she has (I think) no idea now!

Yes, my mother. Only on specific occasions. She was a wonderful seamstress and often made dresses, skirts and blouses for relatives, neighbors, and friends.

When she made them for girls she often used me as a manquin to mark and pin for later sewing. I don't really know what everything she did was for but I liked it.

It started when I was 5 and continued up until I was 10. Looking back I see that there was little more going on than I was aware of at the time.

By the time I was 6 1/2 I was sneaking into wear her lingerie whenever I could. So that was happening parallel to this manaquin business.

The thing that was odd was that she would also have me wear girl's panties under the dresses and skirts I was "modeling" claiming to me that she coud make better measurements if I wore them.

By the time I was 10 she would have me in training bra, panties and sometimes with knee socks or little girls socks.

I was very happy to do this for her. LOL

I would be tremendously excited by the whole experience and I look back on it with great relish.

After age 10 that activity faded but I think mostly because she wasn't making clothes for girls near my size.

I loved one particular outfit that she made that was a knee length pleated skirt of red and green plaid, a white blouse that she also made that was long sleeved, knee socks that matched the skirt, penny loafers and the panties.

I loved it. I did not want to take it off. She let me wear it once more after she finished the whole outfit. I kept it on for nearly two lovely joyful hours. I wanted to keep it but couldn't my Dad would have killed (maybe liiterally he was a violent guy then) both of us!

Happy days!

Mom liked to doll me for halloween. When I was 10 she turned me into Raggy Ann. At 11, I was Alice in Wonderland- blue dress, white pinafore, frilly petticoat, white tights ,maryjane shoes and a blonde wig. All of the girls thought that i made a very cute Alice. At 12, I was a Geisha Girl, I loved being painted with white face makeup, red lipstick, and having my eyes lined. Once she was finished with me i looked like a porcelain doll.

I started to dress about the age of 5 by my self and my mom said she could not get me in a pair of pants to save here life but when I started school I was still dressing as a girl the school made her take me for testing and to see a shrink they found out that I had Klinefelter Syndrome and that was how come I looked a little different then the other boys and had a lot of fem fetchers. They wanted to treat it with testron but my mom would not let them because she said Why fix something thats not broken or is going to kill him.So since 1977 I have wore girls and womens clothes of some kind since then my mom did here best to deal with this.
It made me a better man my wife said she likes a senative man and carring then the normal male.
She supports me and she said anytime I have the itch to dress just scratch away.Just don't change me and this is from a GG and I feel so lucky

I was 4 or 5 and playing at my cousin's house, got into a mess and wound up wearing some of her clothes--a shirt and pants, and underneath, my first pair of white cotton panties. I was teased for it, of course, and wore them home, and wondered why they didn't turn up in my dresser drawer after mom did the laundry--I wanted to wear "my" panties again. Mom thought I would forget all about it, and 30+ years later, of course I haven't. I wore my most recent pair of white cotton panties today. :)

Having a twin sister was cool, as it enabled me to have "dress up play time". A neighbour who worked for an airline gave my sister an old air hostess uniform which i loved to wear, my parents shrugged it off as a playing thing.

later in life i started to wear my sisters school uniform when everyone was out but realised i was in the wrong when kept being caught out, so decided to road to go down was the one to the shops with my saturday job money and go buy my own things. (lingerie depts are so daunting at 16yrs old)

I'm 79 years old and a near lifelong closet crossdresser. When I was six or seven years old, my mother decided that I would go to a Halloween party dressed as a saucy waitress. My aunt assisted my mother with the costume. I had five year older twin sisters. They found one of my sisters' skirts, blouse and shoes for me, along with flared panties. But that wasn't good enough. My sisters had just started to wear stockings to school. Mom and aunt decided to outfit me with stockings and garters to complete my costume. They had to take in one of my sisters' garterbelts so it would fit me snugly. The stockings were much too long, so they doubled them over so the garters would hold them up without wrinkles. The dressing was very meticulous. They put the altered garterbelt on me, the flared panties over it, and then pulled the stockings up me legs and very carefully fastened the garters so the seams were straight and no wrinkles in the stockings. Then they carefully installed the skirt, bllouse and shoes, tied my hair in a bow, and took me to the party. I was a hit, and hooked for life. I guess that's the only time I wasn't closet.

First 2 years of my life I looked more like a girl than a boy. I dressed up once in mums clothes when I was 4. So I guess it has always been there (have not really told mum as guess she has known it has always been there), despite periods where I don't dress femme at all. Been a kind of closet crossdresser all my life.

I have an older sister about six years older than me. When I was a baby she would dress me up as her little sister and cart me around in stroller and baby carriage. I think this continued until I was about 1 or 2 years old and I had broken all of the strollers because I was to big for them. I probably would not have known any of this but my mother and my sister would relive those good ole times every chance they got. I tell my wife that is was my sisters fault for making me this way. Thanks sis I am really greatful for being able to be your little sister LOL.

My first memories are of my sisters (3 of them) dressing me up in a pretty little girl dress. Nothing fancy, just a dress. I remember asking to be dressed and wanting to keep it on.

I do also remember wearing one of my sisters dresses while my mother pinned the hem up. I asked after that if I could help with it.

When I was in my 30s I told my mother about my dressing and she said she had always thought I would someday.

When I was growing up my Mom's best friend had a girl the same age as me. We were friends too and played together all the time. One of our favorite things was playing dress-up and that always seemed to involve me wearing her clothes. One of the best memories I have of this time is the many "Miss America" pageants we'd have with our Mom's being the judges. We'd do casual, dress and even swimsuit . . . it was fantastic! especially since I usually won! hehe

In junior high I was at a neighbor's house and she and her friend "coaxed" me into dressing. I remember a corderoy jumper style dress and clogs. I am pretty sure there was make up involved also. I don't think there was any underwear, pretty sure I would remember that.

I had been dressing in my mom's stuff for a couple of years before that but this really kicked the desire into high gear. Unfortunately it never happened again.

i didn't really have the opportunity until i was about 14 or 15, when i met a girl who was apparently into this. She said she'd love to try dressing me up sometime, and thus the flood gates were opened.

I "remember" a couple of things that happened around the same time. I would have been no more than maybe 7 or 8 years old and this would have been the mid to late 1960s

Instance one, I remember we had a young girl from the neighborhood babysit my sister and I. During the course of the evening the subject of playing dressup arose. I'm not sure who suggested it, probably me. I dressed in some of my mothers things (wearing stockings and a garter belt are firm memories). I don't remember what my sister dressed up in. I don't remember the girl who babysat us as objecting to us doing this, though I also remember that I never told my parents or if we did tell I wasn't specific about what I put on.

The second instance, probably around the same age, because it was definitely the same house and I know we didn't spend that many years there, there was an older lady neighbor who lived down the street. By older I suspect she would have been in her 40s, though I don't really remember. Seems to me I remember going to visit her with one of my little male friends and she used to dress us up in the most exotic items of female attire. I have a firm recolection of being dressed in some kind of bustier and stockings.

This is not my first memory of crossdressing though. I remember that to be quite a few years earlier when I put on one of my mothers girdles and kept it on for quite a while, even under my regular trousers. So I've quite literally been crossdressing as long as I can remember.

BTW, I just saw a show on the Victorian age the other day and it mentioned that it was considered quite normal to dress little boys as girls until the age of puberty!

BTW, I just saw a show on the Victorian age the other day and it mentioned that it was considered quite normal to dress little boys as girls until the age of puberty!

I think around five years old was more normal. If you look up breeching you'll see quite a few pictures of unbreeched boys. For those of them with CD tendencies the day when they were forced out of their dresses must have been a traumatic one indeed! But the practice is an interesting one to bear in mind when we're thinking about theories that CDing may originate with being dressed at a young age.

a friend of mine in school (a gg) helped me dress as a girl for a halloween party when i was in high school. she also let me wear some of her clothes when we were alone at her house. i started dressing seriously at age 15 when one of my sisters died. i wore her clothes to be with her spirit.

When I was ten I asked to be a girl for Halloween, and my mom put great effort into making me a nice costume--she went to the thrift store and got a nice dress and jacket, even a wig! She carefully put on lipstick. I had a few "showings"...at school, at the local playground, and of course, on Halloween night. I loved every one of them....!

A year or so later I managed to talk the girl up the block into letting me dress up in her things. Right when we did this she started to develop breasts and got a training bra, which she was eager to show me (and loan)!

I guess because we were young, and I was girly, she was very open about being dressed, or undressed, in front of me, and we often stripped and changed clothes. Even when her breasts grew, I didn't feel there was a difference in our bodies....

Dressed myself in my girl friend's clothes at age 5 or 6 . . . . we raided her mom's make-up and caught a tongue lashing for it . . .

hi ladies I just thought i would ask if any of you had someone who dressed you when you were little or a teenager. That was always a dream of mine but it never happened so i thought i would ask to hear the others stories.
Don't I wish Shelly! Nope, no one ever dressed me when I was little. I often wish I had had an older sister to dress me in her things. But alas, being an only child I had to learn how to dress all on my own. This all took place several decades ago when most CDs thought there was something wrong with them when they had those wonderful feminine feelings.
PS. I had really nice hairless legs when I was 12

2 single gg friends dressed me up for Halloween when I was about 18, it was fun they tried about a dozen outfits on me before they decided on a long formal dress Dar had from a wedding or something. We had a great time that night, when we got back to their place they gave a night gown & said I had to stay dressed to spend the night or change & drive home. I was enjoying myself too much to change, and was also too drunk to drive. We continued the next day.

No, I was never dressed up when I was young, although there were a couple of times when things came close.

When I was six, our class put on a Christmas production for the parents. One of the boys was cast as an elf, and had to wear a pair of girls' green tights as part of his costume, rather against his will. (I wonder whether that would be allowed today?) Ironically, I was supposed to have the same part, but the teacher decided to switch around the roles at the last minute. Apparently I was having a little trouble mastering the role. Still, I remember thinking: "what if . . . ?"

On another occasion, when I was about ten, my mom mentioned just before Halloween that one of her friends had helped her son dress as a girl the previous year, and she offered to do the same for me. As I was still very much in denial about my true feelings at this point, and as I was more than a little worried about what my dad would think, I stubbornly refused.

Ah, if only we could do things over . . .

All of the dressing up as been totally on my own. I have a feeling when I was young I would have fought it because of being afraid to be tricked and made fun of.

i started dressing at about 13 but i did have feelings about being a girl a lot younger than that but i think i was possibly too young to identify or understand those feelings - i remember when i was about 4 me and a boy next door puttin on our moms scarves and i felt happy to do so - i think i went through a stage maybe at 7 or 8 where i disliked girly things (strange) i remember playing moms and dads with the kid next door and not wanting to be the female - after my crossdressing escapades at 13 or 14 i went through a stage at 15 or 16 where i couldnt wait to start growing facial hair become a man - thats what makes all this confusing for me i seem to go through different stages within myself male and female but if one things for sure my feminine persona is starting to take over the older i get - i have little or no interest in male clothing lifestyle anymore - i just want to be a girl - but sorry i still do fancy women thats about the only thing that hasnt changed yet - but i am not convinced even that couldnt change at the rate i'm going - our lifestyles dont have to be difficult but god knows it can be it is lets face it a double life knowone needs that do they !

I wore sis dresses until age 6..I've been told...then around age 12 I used to wear sis full slips and skirts around the house..
My mom bought cotton panties for us both..no lace ..I guess, I never had any male knickers in my life.

Yeah, I was 2 years old and my oldest brother put me in a little lovely dress. I was embarrassed of that picture in my teenager years but embraced it in my older years. So I thought I was "Dressing" at age 5 but maybe it actually was age 2.

I stayed off school a lot because I was bullied, and I'd always dig into my sister's wardrobe and wear her skirts. I remember at the age of 9 wearing a great skirt she had. It was quite long but it flowed beautifully.:D

I started when I was 11 my parents felt comfortable enough to leave me home by my self. They went out on friday and saturday nights and I stayed home any wore my mothers clothes for 4 or 5 hours a night when they went out. That was in the earily 1960's in a small rural town in the "upper mid west". I had to be some what watchful that word of my girly dressing stayed largely at home. News of my dressing would travel faster than a 4 alarm fire in those rural communities. Any of you that ever lived in one would know that.

Other than the pic I've seen of me in a baptismal dress in 1948, no, I never was dressed in girls' clothes by my parents. As an early teenager I experimented with Mom’s things (on my own) when she and Dad weren't home.
