I had my family over for Thanksgiving dinner tonite.

As I looked at my sister, I realized that the wig I just bought is almost exactly the same style as her hair.

Very odd.

Not quite as odd as me looking at my recent photo, and realizing that I definitely look like my mother's daughter in it. ;)

What is really strange is Thanksgiving in October. I always thought it was in November...BJ

Canada. It's metric. If you take twelve months and convert to metric, there you are.

As i mentioned in some other posts, in one of my better wigs, with my eyes done, I look so much like my cousin Lorraine, it is almost creepy. w.

Wenda is of course correct. I know that American Thanksgiving is in November - I guess I assumed that most Americans know Canada's is in October.

I cooked the turkey - in drab, however.

Nigella's very first wig made her look like her younger sister  talk about weired when I kissed her, so I strongly suggested she get another one, don't have that problem now it's all her own hair. :)

I have found that I'm drawn to hair styles that match certain family members. That may be why we like them....... the hairstyle that is:heehee:

Happy Thanksgiving Allana, hope you had a good holiday.

I too am another Ontario Girl, so yes, I am celebrating Thanksgiving here to-day as well.

By the way, for our friends south of the border, I am usually in the USA in Nov. so am lucky, that way I get 2 Thanksgiving dinners. One in Canada, and one in the states

Halloween is coming. Dress up like twins!

In Canada we needed to go metric and do thanksgiving earlier since the turkeys fly south for the winter pretty soon and we don't have have much time in November because we are preparing to build the igloos when the north winds bring in the snow.

My sister is lucky. I don't look anything like her.
