When I go shopping in drag, well lately I've been going out in my St John outfits and I look like a totally expensive lady. So I get asked by makeup ladies in mall booths if I want my makeup done. Well, the only makeup I know and use is foundation for beard cover, lipstick, and occasionally lip gloss. What would these makeup ladies do to me? How much would they charge?

I have to pass them up and decline them because after shopping I would immediately take everything off because I don't want to walk into my roomates in drag.

Its probably expensive but I would just ask if your really interested. However its possible it might be free an incentive to get you to buy their products.

If you are talking about the makeup counters that the cosmetic companies run in the depatment stores, the service is free. The expectation is that you will be suitably impressed with the products they are using, and buy something. It is, of course, polite to spend some money as that is the whole point of the service, but it is not required. You can also request something. You can say, for instance, that you are thinking about changing your eye makeup, and do they have any suggestions. Remember that they are selling makeup, and not a particular "look", so you may end up looking a bit "overdone", if you kinow what I mean. Most of these girls are not into the subtle look.

If you are approached and asked by these ladies as you walk by, there is no charge. That's the way they sell product. However, bear in mind that she will kinda expect you to buy at least one of the products she uses on you. There is absolutely NO required sale, however. You don't HAVE to purchase anything. If you are in doubt, just ask, hon. The English language is very usefull in such situations.

Best to always ask the cosmetic skin specialists what they would do to improve your appearance and at what $. Recently, I was approached while in drab at a slow time in their schedule and consented to have them do their magic. After giving a lot of compliments about how smooth and tight my skin is, she began cleansing my skin, highlighted my cheekbones, colored, trimmed, and arched (somewhat) my brows, and added a light skin tanner and clear lip balm. When she finished I was amazed at how much better my skin felt and appeared. I know why ladies get these facials - it feels so great! Some lady shoppers gave me a thumbs up and wished their guys would get their skin done. I left nearly three Franklins at that counter! No matter who you are, they're all in the business to make $.

If I was living alone in my own Apt I'd try one of these ladies to make me look as best as possible just to see what they can do!
