Look up the yahoo group "friendsoftriangles". There is a great party at a GLBT bar called Triangles in Danbury CT about every 6 weeks. I live further east on LI in Suffolk and I can get there in 1hr 45 min. It is an easy ride and a great party. A nice feature about the place is that is has both a bar and club sides and now that weather is warming they have a large back patio and outside bar which will be open. I believe the next party in May 3rd. Many girls stay over at the Comfort Suites. I highly reccomend this party.
