Section Announcement...Please Read!

I see an awful lot of threads here addressed to the ladies (I may be a woman, but I sure ain't no lady), which is fine if you're just looking for responses from the MtF side of the fence, but this and the Body Issues section are open Transsexual Forums for both MtF and FtM transsexuals, and most of these threads seem to be looking for any responses. I'm asking you to please stop forgetting to mention the guys or at least leave the pronouns out of it, it makes them feel like their input isn't welcome and I can tell you that is a big mistake, all of the guys here go out of their way to be of help and I for one appreciate that fact to the utmost extreme.

Thanks, Karen, it needed to be said. I'm tired of reminding people that this is not the Ladies section - it's the Transsexual section. For ALL who identify as transsexual.

If any of the guys started a thread here that began with "Hi Gents" and was relevant to all, people would complain (and rightly so) that it excluded half the population, yet many people don't understand that it works the other way around too.

One recent thread here spoke of us being a family in this section . . . yeah so, don't you ladies have male members of your family? :raisedeyebrow:

So please remember that this section is the Transsexual section, not the MtF Transsexual section and that, contrary to popular opinion, there are FtM transsexuals.
