I will try to state this as tactfully as possible. First some disclaimers I'm not depressed or thinking about the end and I realize that there are different religious beliefs in addition to different countries having different customs in how they honor their dead. With that being said. Have any of you thought of specifying in your will your desire to be buried, dressed as a women?

The thought has occurred, but since I'll be cremated, I wouldn't want to ruin a good dress.

I've also tho't about it, and actually picked a 'lady' Funeral Director in hopes that my desires would be fullfilled without question..:)

I have since decided that cremation is the 'way to go', but hope that the DW agrees with my wishes for at least satin panties..:battingeyelashes: POOF!

That thought has always plauged me, because my immediate family still calls me He and Him and I'm sort of okay with that even though I don't look like a he or him.

I try not to think that far into the future.

How morbid! However I've decided to donate my husk for medical research; they can do with me as they will when they're done. If they decide to bury me they won't need to embalm me since I've probably injested enough "preservatives" in my life to prevent decomposition. :D

I don't know, I quite like the idea of a beautiful gown, heels, full makeup, the lot!

Well, I,d like to be buried under an apple tree in all my tarty glory . In fact I hope I,d provide the tree with a good supply of food and compost over the years , thus ensuring the apples would develope into a potent and fruity cider !!

I'll be dead, and I don't believe in an afterlife. So they can do whatever they want with me. I'd probably be useful as a scarecrow, though. Or maybe one of those animatrons in disney world. Stuff me and put the carcass to use somehow, but take the parts that others can use out first.

This is a question I'll leave up to my wife and kids to make. I was always the man my wife wanted me to be, I was always there for her and for the kids. So when this decision is to be made, I believe I'll see all of you in heaven abovre in DRAB. Just don't forget to introduce your selves as a CDer when we meet

This is a serious question, but the way to look at it is that the funeral service is for your family and friends, not for you, so it will be appropriate if you are presented the way they know you (or want to know you). So if they regard you as a guy, that's how they should send you off.
Remember your spirit is the real you, and that will have passed on to another sphere anyway.

I would say the opposite. A funeral is (or it should be) all about the dear departed. "There's no show without Punch!"

I thought I was the ONLY one who thought about that.

If I could have my wish, I would be dressed as my drab self from the waist up and as Laura from the waist down. It would express the duality of my existance for eternity.

Nope! Not gonna waste any space unecessarily on this earth beyond...

I'm gonna be shipped off to the tennessee Body farm where they can throw my remains in a ditch, submerge it in the trunk of a car for two years, burn em, lay em out in the sun, place em in a casket and all that stuff that forensics specialist do to measure how long it takes the body to decay under different conditions. With some luck, I'll be helping crime scene people figure out more specifics on victims deaths.

I thought I was the only one here who would consider the body farm. Actually i have a special codicil in my will and in my advanced directive. They do nothing for me at all if I am in a vegetative state after 30 days. 30 days and 1 minute, pull the plug then either off to the body farm or slice and dice me to use for transplants or to the nearest med school for parting out. Anything that will help teach or save someones life. Whatever is the most useful and prudent at the time.

I already have arrangements with UCLA for donation but that is only if I am close by.

In any event, no embalming, no caskets, no wasted bucks sunk in a hole in the ground.

Go out and have a round and a meal on me.

My SO buried her mother in a 300.00 Dior peignoir 20 years ago and to this day regrets it. We both hate the thought of that gown underground and not looking so beautiful. (Sorry but we both have a morbid sense of humor sometimes)

I told her if she buried me in a beautiful gown like that I would come back to haunt her. Let some one else enjoy wearing my gowns.

PS I want "See? I told you I was sick" in my epitaph.

Wouldn't really matter at that point for me as I'm gonna wind up just ashes anyways so why torch a decent mini in the process:heehee:
I'm going in the ground next to my pets on my property, whether its legal or not, that's what's in my will.

If I was to be burried I would have them bury me as a woman, my family could get over it, at least it would be one finaly last time. Came close to dying a few years ago, got over or past all of that had to come to terms with it. I have it set up that all of me goes to donors and to science so my family will not be stuck with the bills, I'm already gone doesn't matter to me if I'm in the ground or a bottle all comes out the same.

I've never considered putting anything on paper, but recently my wife and I were discussing this while lounging around and she lightheartedly mentioned the oddity of burying me in a dress and wig and makeup (the whole works). Of course, I pointed out the obvious... that she'd have to explain this to the guests,... she could tell everyone that she was getting back at me for a life of hell that I put her through LOL... or else she could simply underdress me (which I had to explain)... thus she agreed, "...a garter belt wouldn't be easily noticed"....

I plan on dying in my sleep at 130 years of age and I will turn into a pile of dust since I'll be older than dirt by then. If there is anything left of me it will be wrapped in a nice sexy nightie and string bikini panties, pink ones I'm sure.
All things for sure, whatever is left of me will be spread over the waters by Makinac Island along with my wifes ashes.
