Tonight I had to go shake the dew of my lily real bad so I pulled in a Gas/Food place and went to the ladies room did the deal and when I washed my hands I looked in the mirror.SHOCKED.
The lighting was pretty bright and I had no hint of beard shadow none.
Always at home I can see a little.
The makeup was damn good too smooth and well blended.I was shocked how femme I looked. It was the first time I had been around that kind of lighting.
I know in other threads they talked how important the proper lighting is well I beleive it.

Hey not so fast there Tracii:heehee: instead buy one of those makeup mirrors that has the two types of light, my SO had one and loved it.

I know one thing, I hate flouresants and will never own one:eek:

Jess I'm sure the restroom light was a flouresent all I know I looked better than I had ever hoped to.
What type of makeup mirror is it I do need one.

I always use a makeup mirror. Those that have the three mirrors and the round lights on the side. I just went to Walmart and got mine. Works great.
Lighting is huge in pics too, but then if I don't like the lighting in a picture, I just use photoshop. Is that cheating? hehe

I couldn't agree more except in my case the less light there is the better I look!! And based on that I sumize I look like Christene Aqulara with the lights out... But so far I haven't been able to prove it because the camera always flashs... :D

Yeah lighting effects lots of things.
YOu notice in stores they have it lit a certain way so everything looks better.

So if you went into a restroom at a gas station where the light is not flattering and you still liked how you looked, you got it nailed.

Always try to put your make up on in the same sort of light conditions that you're going to be out in? :)
