View Full Version : Actual Age and how long a CD?

Maybe this has been asked before but I couldn't find it!

I am wondering what is the average age of the MTF ladies on this forum, and how long have you been a CD? I know, never ask a lady her age!! But many of you have related your age in posts, and besides we all know the feminine you is much younger!!

I personally am 76 and have crossdressing since about age 7 or 8. Undies only at first, but started broadening out when in my teens. Bought my first full outfit, undies including bra, dress, stockings, and shoes, when I was in the Navy at San Francisco. Ordered it from Fredericks of Hollywood and wore it my Hotel room all day. Loved that outfit!

So ladies, how about letting the rest of us know a little more about you?

I know I'm going to be younger than the average: 19, and will be 20 in a little over a month.

I don't remember when I first started dressing right... I remember really starting to get into my sister's closet when I was 13 and 14.

Yeah, I borrowed her clothes because I was young and had no other way.

I'm 42 and remember wearing a dress and panties when I was 7. I bought my first bra when I was 14 and bought my most recent one yesterday.

I am 60 years young and have been crossdressing since I was 5. I was deep in the closet until only 6 months ago at which time I came out and started going out in public dressed. I have found that my desire to crossdress is increasing with age. I have learned to accept this part of me and could not be any happier.

I'm 56 and I started about 3 years ago when asked by a GG to dress up for a party.Me being a free spirit agreed to do so I had a blast. Every time she gave a party she invited me via a letter adressed to Tracii.
About a year ago I started going full femme just for the thrill and to this day everytime its a big thrill.
Just a very fun hobby IMO.Made some great friends out there and in here.

I am 48 years old and I started dressing quite late, I was 15 before I started raiding my sister's closet. I began to dress fully and freely at 20 after my wife put lipstick on me in bed as a joke. Needless to say, she did not get the response she expected.:) From that time on she was fully supportive. I've been out of the closet ever since.

I was dressed up and photographed by my babysitter when i was 4 or 5, in an attempt to convince my parents that long hair was for girls and hippies, that picture is floating around my mothers house somewhere.

at 28 i have been dressing by my own accord for 16 or 17 years. When I was a teen my older cousin would let me go to the nightclubs with him. turned out portland was a good place to be en femme.

I just turned 64 and have been dressing since I was 12. I've been deep in the closet all these years. My wife of 44 years has known from the beginning but is totally against it, so I don't tell her. I try to sneak wearing something every minute I'm alone but I feel so guilty. It'll be this way the rest of my life since several attempts to talk about a compromise have been soundly rejected. The older I get the greater the desire gets and it dominates my every thought. I'm totally lost in the pink fog. :battingeyelashes:

I am now 61 and was introduced to crossdressing at age of 9, Spent many traumatic years from age 18 in both denial and guilt. Eventually the internet came along and got my first computer at age of 47 and suddenly discovered that I was not alone or some weirdo. The last 14 years have been glorious.

I am 50, and have been dressing - in one form or another - for the last 41 years. From 9 to about 18 years of age it was just a bra/panties thing, then became a 'full' femme from 18 onwards.

I am surprised at the ages 'confessed' so far. From the replies above and general posts in the forums on this site I thought that you ladies were, generally, much younger. I think your pictures make you all look younger and your replies have the feel of experienced but much younger women (mid 30's).

In early 90's SO told me she had found my stashed items. We've talked about my dressing and she is not quite up to it but she hasn't thown me out or left me.

I am 63 and the earliest time that I can remember CDing was around 8 years old. I actively dressed from age 22 to age 55. Them came the dark dreary years (due to spouse objection) from 55 to 62. Guess what ? The overwhelming "urge", "desire", "compulsion", "very dense pink fog" rolled in and JoAnne is gonna make up for lost time !!!!

I'm slightly under 40yo but I'll never admit to more then 29 when in heels and makeup :battingeyelashes:

I started under-dressing with hose around 12 or 13 though I was put in makeup by my older sisters a couple of times before that.

About 3 years ago I went from hose and heels to full outfits, forms, and makeup in about a 2 month period. Oddly enough, just about when I first found this group :D

I'm now 50. I first started dressing up in my sister’s undies at about 8 years old. In my teen years I occasionally underdressed - average about maybe once or twice a year. As an adult I have always related to women more then men. Everything was fine until I was in my mid 40's, when I started to not just be with women, but feel like I really wanted to be a woman. I started to buy some things and dress whenever I had the chance, and the more I did it the more I wanted it. There was a period that I underdressed and wore panties nearly everyday. I decided I needed a gaff, and went looking for a place to purchase one locally as I couldn't have it mailed anywhere. That’s when I found a place called "Over the Rainbow Transformations", and its wonderful owner Victoria. One short visit to purchase a gaff turned into an amazing sensory overload at all of the other girly stuff that was available. She had me to try on a wig and forms (the first time ever for me), and in that brief 30 minutes I knew I had found what I was looking for. That was just a short year ago. I now have been out on the town a few times, and dress whenever I can. I'm still in the closet at home, and I try to stay balanced with my male home and work life and my female me time. Sometimes it’s hard to keep out of the pink fog. If the world were different I would just let the girl out nearly full time, it just feels so right. But for now I feel more complete and happier that I ever thought possible.

Well, sorry for the long post, but my fingers just kept going.

I am 52 and I started dressed in my mother's lingerie when I was about 9 or 10 and completely fell in love with the feeling. The pink fog has never left me entirely since then. I stopped dressing for about 20 years but the desire came back even stronger then ever. I now dress when ever I can and have been out to clubs and shopping numerous times and love it even more now. I have also met with several other Sisters for enjoyable times dressing together. I told my SO just before we got married, I was not going to have any secrets, and she is very supportive. I am now looking forward to attending a conference for Cd's such as "Be-All" in Chicago next year. That is going to be the ultimate experience for me!

Just like everybody else started at about 7-8 and on/off since but mostly in the closet until about 12 years ago when I told my SO. I will be 52 in January. My dressing ramped up over a long period of time, but started very early, at about 3 or 4 years old (just about as soon as I could dress myself and had some concept that there was a difference between boys' and girls' clothes). It started with makeup, nail polish, earrings, then shoes and underthings, and finally outerwear when I was in my teens. There have been no significant breaks. Now I'm dressing several hours each day and pretty much full time on weekends, out and about like any other lady.

20 years old, been CDing very sporadically for about 8 years, do it casually for a year or two and then take a year or two off. When I was 12, watched an anime called "Cardcaptors", main character is a cute little girl who wears all kinds of cute outfits in the process of "saving the world". Wanted to be like her, started stealing my sister's and mom's clothes to play dress-up.

This is one of my "on" years, it showed back up around July and I found this site in October. I've been with my SO going on 3 years and we've been engaged for just a week and a half under 1 year. Up until now, I didn't really suspect that CDing was going to be significant in my life, so I didn't think I needed to share that little part of my younger life with her. Now, I'm thinking it'll be rather important to tell her, as I'm sure that, even if it goes away again, it'll come back. I'm going to try to tell her over Christmas break.

I am 37 and first started dressing at around the age of 10. My parents remodeled the house and my brother and I finally got our own rooms. The bathroom that became mine was next to the laundry room, so my mother would hang her tights and work out clothing on the towel bar to dry (This is when the 80's work out craze was in full swing). At night I would try on the clothing and love the way my legs looked. When my mother stopped going to the gym, my fun ended until I entered college. When I moved into an apartment, I started to get nylons and bodysuits from the adult book store. My dressing really started to expand after I told my wife (girlfriend at the time). She helped me get some heels and dresses that looked OK on me. After we got married, she continued to help me with my purchases. Now we have a kids, so my dressing is very limited, but we still have fun making comments about styles and what would we like to see each other in.

38. 1st when I was 12 or 14, I think. Stopped from '93-'01 as much as possible, but it can't be "helped".

Still not sure about impersonating- girls don't take on a man's name when they wear a man's shirt. Would like to just be able to be me with the clothes I want (I like to show off my legs a bit).

I'm pushing 50 but at least I am not pushing poppies! I was doing this as far back as 4yo anyway, but always hidden and for many years thinking I was the only person with this 'problem'. Of course, it is not a problem, and I am definitely not alone, as this site will attest to!

I am sixty now and I first started to wear my mothers girdles and nylons around 12 years old. She always had some in the hamper in the bathroom and they were such an easy target! During my teen years I started to dress fully with her cloths as well as my sisters. Ever since then I dressed when I could, but I got real serious with wardrobes, wigs and make-up for the last 11 years. I just wished I started sooner.

I tried on a binkini swimsuit just the bottoms, (the ladies' who's suit I tried on was less than an A cup and 32 was way to big) when I was 13, and progressed to actual cding @ about 15. 28 now, don't seem to care a whole lot about doing it as often as I used to. Would still like to find a few others locally and make a day out an about dressed.

I'm 23 now. I think I was 11-12 when I starting putting on weight and my mum jokingly said "If you get much bigger you'll have to wear a bra." So I put one on one night finding it to big I waited till I was round my friends house one day and when he was in the toilet and his sister wasn't home snick in and took a bra and a thong and shoved t down my pants. Waited till her came back and "used" the toilet myself I put them on under my normal clothes and then the rest is really history.

I'm 44 years old.

I first dressed wearing my sisters leotards and a couple dresses when I was about 12. I always was caught and my mother gave me hell for it. But I did it over and over for about 1 year. Then I stopped all together until 4 years ago when I wore a skirt at work for a joke. That brought on a whole pile of wonferful feelings, and from then on I've been on a buying spree.

I'm 33 now, CDing since age 4 (in secret until age 20 when I left home). I've purged a few times but not for nearly 10 years now, my wife knew before we were married but I feel like I want to go to the next level and meet people socially when dressed. It's almost boring doing it at home now, waiting for the children to go to bed so I can get the heels and mascara out!

Mom told me that she put me in little dresses when i was a baby because it made changing diapers easier, and I recall having to wear a pair of her panties when I was like 4 or 5 while our boy undies were in the wash because they were all dirty, and I think I recall playing dress up with some of my little female play friends at about that age, but the first time I clearly remember dressing like a girl, Fully, was my senior year of high school when I had the honor of being dressed as a Powder Puff Cheerleader for the annual Powder Puff Football game. I have dressed in some form of lingerie for all of my wives and a couple of girl friends, but none have helped me take it to the level that it is now and it is so fun to go shopping or to yard sales with my current wife:hugs:

Leslie Langford

I just turned 60 and first became aware of my attraction to women's clothing when I was about 5 or 6.

I first began trying on my mother's clothes when I was a pre-teen, and since I was an only child, she was the only game in town as far as being a source of female clothing was concerned.

Being a latch-key kid at the time, I also had ample opportunity to indulge in my passion most days between the time I came home from school and when my parents got back from work.

My biggest disappointment around that time was when my grandparents came to live with us - just around the time that I had grown to be about my mother's size and her clothes began to fit me perfectly - even her shoes. Their being around all the time severely cramped my style, and by the time they moved back out to be on their own again, I had gotten too big to comfortably fit into her clothes.

Once I began to work and live on my own, I was able to buy my own wardrobe. I subsequently got married and fully expected that would "cure" me, but several purges later, I realized that Leslie was here to stay.

I continued to dress throughout my married life and eventually my wife caught on - it was not a happy event, but we have since settled into something of a "don't ask, don't tell" type of existance.

I've been going out in public "en femme" on a semi-regular basis for the last couple of years, and the main trigger for that was the fact that my beard is now almost entirely gray and easily covered up with make-up - i.e. no more dreaded "5 o'clock shadow". Makes passing much easier now.

While my male self is 60, Leslie is still an energetic 40, tries to dress stylishly whenever she is out, and Tina Turner has nothing on her when it comes to strutting around in her high heels :D.
