Tears in my eyes
OK, still have moist eyes. Tonight texting my 9 year younger sister. About five years ago I came out to my youngest sister. She was wide eyed but we were interrupted and never finished the conversation. We live almost 500 miles apart. So five years later we are in person and alone and she brings up my Sidney side. Lots of questions. Answered as best as I could and we parted again. So tonight we are texting and she brings Sidney up again and we spent hours texting each other. So she is very accepting and supportive of me and Sidney. Why the tears. Well she is now calling me her "Broster", her brother sister. Lord, I'm tearing up again. I love my baby sister soooo much. Hope this made since.

It makes perfect sense. Pleased that another person knows more if the whole of you.

My real liberation came when I decided to come out to my sis. She is 100% supportive, and having that from my family of origin is a very strong foundation. Yay for sisters!
-
Sidney, that's great to have an accepting sister. I understand the tears.
-
Sidney, What a great story. Family is always so important. Best wishes to you and your sister.

Really great to hear that you have such an understanding sister.

I have tears too.
My sister and I were not close. I kept putting off telling her. She past away two years ago without me telling her.
I'm so happy for you.

That's great, an accepting family member is better then any form of therapy.
-
What a wonderful sister you are both very lucky.

I hope my children have that kinda bond when they get older. You are blessed indeed.

OK, update to my post. Lol, told you my sister calls me her broster, brother, sister the other day. Today in a totally unrelated conversation with my accepting daughter she called me her Dather, Dad, Mother. I love my family.
