Hello ladies, it's Friday night, and as our agreement I'm back again for another wonderful show.

Today we have a special show. Today we'll be focusing on gifts from friends. :heehee:

Yes, that's right! Gifts from those closest to us. Let it be best friends, Significant Others, Caring and supporting Family members or just one late night drive around and stumbling into a bag of goodies. ;)

I'm curious about the pros and cons. For example: Sally gives Billy a skirt to wear. Billy has always wanted to wear one, good for you Billy! But uh oh! Billy's taste in clothing differs from Sally's taste! What should Billy do? Thankfully accept the present and never wear it? Simply sit Sally down and explain why and chance never getting anything nice again? Try and alter his own tastes in clothing so he can be happy in his new skirt?

I love my lady friends. Mostly due to the fact everything that I've gotten from them has altered my wish list. I always wanted to wear a wedding dress. I now own one. For free. [check], I always wanted to wear something really fancy like a Bridesmaid dress. Got two for free. [check], I've always wanted to wear something a bit ****ty like you see in those japanese cartoons of the cute waitresses and school girls with the short skirts and elegant designs. I now own 3 cosplay dresses and a Sailor Venus costume. [Check and Check].

But sadly, I always seem to get clothes that, while very pretty and cute, are slightly worn down or, they don't really match anything else that I have. I have 5 normal dresses of varying degrees of length, fabric, design and cuteness. Three seperate bras (no forms) that all seem to be just a little too tight around my chest, panties that act like spandex which are really nice to wear sometimes feel like they are gonna cut off circulation. (obviously they wont. i take em off when they feel really wierd like that as i'm thinking of having kids in a few years). Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Yes, while I could go out and man up, go into the store and buy stuff, I find myself literally frozen outside the store, even with other girls with me. I get flustered, I get wierd, and I make a beeline right for the video game store and hide out until I can see straight again. D= None of my friends want to shop for me, despite having a clear list of cuteness and what I'd like. Lolita and Gothica things are freakin adorable. Same with silk dresses and things with frills. :battingeyelashes:

Or makeup. I never could get the grasp of it. Even with google assisting me, it all just seemed to be... alot of hassle for something that I might not even be able to get off in short notice. And what if it stains my lips or eyes? I'm not ashamed of who I am, but where I live and what I do means the better I fit in, the less likely it will be that I get robbed or attacked when I'm at work. (i work alone. the less hassle, the better). But yet I got a small box of misc makeup from a friend I want to try, despite my inability to actually be able to crossdress till my roommate gets a job and leaves the house. (drama in itself).

And I still don't own a pair of shoes. At all. My feet are huge. D= Size 12-13 in mens. means crazy big size in women (13-14) (i think), which means i need to order them special online and, what if my feet are wider than i think and they still don't fit? :o

Being a plus sized young man who does what we do is complicated. D=

Sounds like you're standing at the edge of the pool, testing the waters with your big toe and trying to figure out if you want to jump in ... or not. :)

One of the things I love about my SO: she always gave herself permission to go with the flow of her feelings. It took her many years of slowly building confidence before she was able to cross the next threshold, and then the next one after that. But when she was ready to spread her wings and fly? Oh boy!

The only curve I can think of that mirrors her growth is the Dow Jones Index: incremental growth for a long, long time, and then an exponential upward spike!

My next door neighbor lady has given me alot of clothes over the past couple years, some I can and will wear, some don't fit, some I just don't have anything to go with. What I don't or can't wear, I donate to Goodwill.
Don't be afraid to go shopping for womens clothes,I know its scary at first, but you'll get over that in time. Or do like I did at first, get about half s*** faced before you go.
I've been to walmart buying panties and such, but one time I had to ask for assistance, cuz I couldn't find the thigh highs.. The young girl was very helpful and when I said something about being embarrassed, she said not to be, theres nothing wrong with men buying womens clothes..I've been buyning stuff online too, but so far I'm 0 for 4 with shoes..Next week I'm going to JC Penney's and going to get some heels that actually fit my feet..I'll be a bit nervous, but not that bad......If anyone wants the results, just ask..

I am another one that doesn't do well with makeup, I can't get the hang of applying it, and don't have anyone who can help..Plus being 58 next week, I'm not exacly pretty anymore..Donna

You must be in NZ or Australia..I saw the post about 2 hours ago.
It is nice to see you have support. If you are where I guess there are a couple of specialist shoe stores that do big sizes in NZ.
There are a couple of girls that post here from NZ so look out for them.
It takes a lot of courage to shop in the early stages but go somewhere, another town. Easy over here, but NZ is small.
I have visited there Nth and Sth Island.
Getting off track here.

Actually, this guy/lady/creature/Imeni being lives in Alberta, Canada. I'm the lonely Albertan in the forums, I suspect. Long Live Canadia! =D And the city I'm in is relatively small so, shopping is rather limited. And I've already checked. The biggest we seem to have here without a special order is about 10-11, depending on what you want. Seeings how the average shoe size I've found is 8-9, and me around 14, im actually double average foot size. XD I love it.
