New Question-Pick Up Lines & Moves

I'm sure most of us that go out in the public cross-dressed have been on the receiving end of a Pick Up Line/Move. I was in the liquor store yesterday and the man in front of me turned and asked me if I was Rita, I said no, he said something along the line of, if you were then there'd be no one Sweeta than Rita. That was so corny I actually laughed out loud. I said well that's a new one on me. He said ya gotta try right? I said, true that. I was pumping gas one day and I saw a man pull out but he just kept looking at me, he didn't pull out of the GS, he drove around and kept eyeballing me. He finally pulled over in front of my car, looked like he was writing down something. He got out and walked over to me and tried to hand me a piece of paper with his # on it. I politely declined the note, with a NO Thank You. Actually, I've been approached MANY times while getting gas, maybe I should hang out at the Circle K, LOL. One drunk college guy, at a CLUB, stumbles over to me and yells in my face "DO YOU SUCK BLANK ?. I told him, "YOU NEED TO GET AWAY FROM ME". The bar staff was notified. I told the bartender if he approaches me again that I'm gonna slug him.
Anyway, what is your interesting encounter with "Pick-up Artist"?

At a hotel somewhere in the world, an obviously "professional" girl walks up to me and says "I saw you and your girl friend earlier, I think I recognize her!". Me, a little confused, "Sorry .. you must be mistaking, I dont have a girl friend". Her .... "Would you like one?"

I huge guy half my age and nearly twice my size followed me to my car parked far from anyone after leaving a Las Vegas casino at 2 in the morning. I didn't notice him until we were at my car. He asked if I was looking for a date? I said I wasn't interested. Trying to sound casual but I was scared s--tless!:eek:

I don't know if this qualifies as a pick up or not but while shopping at a mall I sat down on a bench by the food court when an older gentle man viewed me from a ways away and came over and sat next to me - close but not too close and started chatting me up ... flattering but uncomfortable - I politely excused myself and carried on ......................Debra

Most of the time it is a harmless - can I buy you a drink sort of thing. I usually decline because I buy my own drinks and tip very well to buy the bartenders attention ; )

A few times guys have asking me point blank if I wanted to go to the car or bathroom etc, and those are the ones I just ignore until they go away. Even if I did want to, it would not be with someone that crude.

Then other times they are just inquiring with something like this. I know you have a boyfriend. Or one just said - Are you single. To which I just wave my ring.

I don?t mind it at all as long as they do not keep pestering me if I am not engaging with them. It is a compliment in a way to know that my attire is working ; )

My main thing I enjoy is dressing up sexy. then dancing and hanging out with the GGs in clubs. If I get some good dancing and hugs in, It?s a good night, but getting hit on comes with the territory so it seems.
It does not bother me in the least.

The funniest getting hit on situation for me was during the local kink community’s munch (a get together to socialize in a Vanilla way) at a Sports bar. We had probably over 20 people at the tables and 2 guys not from the group came over to where I was sitting with my life partner (cd too but he was in guy mode that evening) and a good female friend. One guy was posing and flexing his arm muscles while his friend was being his mouthpiece to hook me up with him. For like the 10 minutes of them doing this my partner and friend were caressing my nyloned legs. Trying to keep a straight face was very tough as the flexing was hilarious and the caressing was very sensual and pleasing!

I've had wolf whistles in my early, stupid, naive years sometimes when out during the day. I was dressed horribly, looked like a cheap prostitute, and thought I could blend, at least a little. The worst case was when I was shopping one afternoon in a local mall, dressed nicely in a modest, knee length skirt suit and three inch black pumps. A plain clothed security guard said from behind me "YA LOOK GREAT!". I ignored him. He came closer, hung his head over my shoulder, put his face in mine and said " HEY, YA LOOK GREAT!". I said "excuse me?". With more nastiness, he replied, "I SAID YA LOOK GREAT!". I was terrified. His loud, nasty tone had attracted everyone's attention. I turned and slunk back out of the mall, having to pass through the way I came in, through a JCPenney store and back to my car. So many things I could have said. Maybe, "I'm not interested in you" or "STOP PROPOSITIONING ME!". But I didn't. Now I'm older and stupid, still naive, but a bit more brave. I'm very thankful for being able to enjoy better trans rights these days, and I hope, maybe too naively, that such security personnel have since been made to find other lines of employment. I always shrugged off the earlier wolf whistles even though they were probably meant in mockery. The most complimentary words said to me were from genetic women SA's when shopping in ladies' clothing sections of department stores. Not a lot of other complimentary words.

You're lucky if it only remains verbal. When I started going out dressed the "moves" guys made towards me usually consisted of grabbing my ass or putting their hands on my legs including running them all the way up under my skirt to my stocking tops.

The guy who made me more angry than anyone doing that was the one who after I'd shoved him away started shouting at the top of his voice about how I needed to shave my legs. I was outraged by that because shaving is something I always do religiously before going out dressed. I was more put out by that than the assault on my person!

Thankfully it seems to me that sort of behaviour is much less common now but it hasn't disappeared entirely and I guess it never will.

My worst experience in this regard was in Madame Arthur's, the famous TV bar in Amsterdam. I was sitting at the bar dressed, chatting to a couple of Dutch TVs, thinking what a pleasant evening I was having. The barmaid set a drink in front of me.

I said "there must be some mistake, I didn't order that". She said "the gentleman at the other end of the bar has bought it for you". I said "tell him thank you but no thank you". She replied "it's alright, he is celebrating his birthday and has bought drinks for everybody". (It was early in the evening, there were only about ten people in the bar).

So like the naive idiot I was, I said "in that case thank him very much". The next minute, before I had a chance to take a sip this 6'7" German guy was beside me with his hands all over me, including up my skirt, telling me how sweet I was. You've heard the expression "makes my flesh crawl", well this really did. It felt like I had worms crawling all over me and it actually took a bit of an effort to avoid throwing up.

Eventually he relaxed his grip on me to pick up his drink and I was able to wriggle out of his grasp and run to the Ladies' room. I stayed there for ages until another gurl who came in told me the coast was clear so I could get to the changing room at the back of the place and get back into male mode. I had to walk back out through the bar and I 'm sure he recognized me, but now I wasn't so attractive to him.

Cue the chorus of "WELCOME TO OUR WORLD!" from the GG members here. And they don't have the option of changing into male mode.

Gerri, I have been hit on once. It happened in a LQBTQ+ club in DC. I was at a table, but you had to go to the bar to order your drink. Each time I went up, he chatted me up and tried to buy me a drink. The first time caught me off guard. After that it was flattering. He took no for an answer rather well.

The ubiquitous nature of pornography has contributed to more hetero and heteroflexible men being exposed to xdressing and trans themed porn where the CD or transperson is essentially reduced to a fetish device. This, in turn, leads some of them to assume that any CD or transwoman they encounter in the real world exists to please men. That's how you end up with encounters where men come up and ask about sexual favors in a way that no man would dare discuss with a cis woman.

I've been picked up many times. Not a big deal.

One night at the bar, a close friend of mine and I are in the middle of the bar buying a drink. We're talking to the bartender who is a good friend of ours. The boyfriend of one of my friend's, he's more than that as they're living together. Comes up to me and starts telling me what he's going to do to me, explicitly. Then telling me he wants to go home with me. That his girlfriend is out of town and she would like ok with it. I knew better, as she is a good friend of mine.

I'm kind of in shock like OMG. Two good friends are right there watching and I don't know who else in the bar heard. I turned my friend the bartender, asked her to call him a cab. I stuck cab fare in his pocket and the bouncer put him in the cab.

Monica, don't delude yourself that real women don't have to put up with this crap.

Guess I never put myself in a position for a pick up. I have travelled from VA to PA many times dressed as myself an back. The only time that I questioned that was once in MD en route that a gentleman held the door open for me in the rest area. I know not the sme thing, but I felt he was sizing me up and was going to ask me something, but I keep walking to the car.

I'm quite aware that women are harassed, more frequently in fact, but not nearly with the same degree of boldness or raunch. At least not without being called out.

I'm usually the one with the pick up lines. I usually say "wanna date".

I never get those cool pick up lines used on me like "do fries go with that shake" or "I lost my telephone number can I have yours".

Most times it's just someone saying hello or small talk and then it goes from there. I remember once this cool guy was looking my way. I was ready to go up to him when this guy who looked he came out of the film "The hills have eyes" got between us and ruined the moment. The Hills guy didn't even have a good pick up line, just some vulgar stuff.

Info, this is my post number 1313. I now feel happy.
