Married to a totally supportive and wonderfull woman.
I would not do something that my SO felt uncomfortable with, no matter what the circumstances. Why not invite her to come along to meet your friends?
59. Need to report back on your conclusions.
Much much happier in girl mode.
I love being transgendered. I don't think I could stop even if I wanted to. Fortunately I have accepting people in my life.
Since we're talking magic here, I'd be a girl every day. But reality sinks in quickly and with all the commitments in life, I'm very lucky to have as much girl time as I do.
Your confidence was the only thing in your way. You look totally feminine and you would have passed without any difficulty.
I definately fall into the category of wanting to be female most of the time. For me it isn't just the clothes any more. It's more about who I really am.
Theresa just seemed a natural for me. It also allowed me to hang on my same initials
I think there may be different reasons why we dress the way we do. In my case the earliest I remember around age 5 was wanting to wear girls clothes. I dont imagine I was stressed by being a boy, or...
1) What is the number one reason you wear feminine clothing?
A compulsion to be who I am
2) Are you open and honest with your SO about your dressing? If not, how does the deception affect your...
Earliest memories are of wanting to be a girl So I would say it was some sort of genetic thing. Nobody else influenced me, although mother supported my desire to try girls clothes out.
A happy story that is well suited for this season of new birth!
You are a wonderful storyteller.
I agree that the importance of passing or not passing can be overblown. But I do have to say that for me the turning point was when I stopped caring whether I passed or not nor what other people...
Probably no-one is 100% passable but I have been surprised that I have been largely unnoticed while shopping in typical department stores and eating out at nice restaurants. I've done this in...
Well I'm back from my New Orleans adverture and it was as wonderful as Diva said it would be. Thank you for the great advice Diva.
I'll post more later this week when I have more time but suffice...
My wife and I are headed to New Orleans in a couple of weeks for a girls weekend. I've been there several times but never as Theresa. I was looking for some tips and advice from girls from around...
I've been going out now since last year after 8 years of dressing privately.
What changed? My fear of not looking good enough. My fear of being "outed". Just fear in general.
I finally took...
Thanks Amanda for your wonderful story. I definately identified with much of your story, especially the part about the journey of self discovery. Life is definately a journey and we're never...
I've noticed my better photos are those that are taken with the camera above my head angled downwards. Must be a good angle for us.
Yes she buys things for me as gifts or even when she sees a good sale. She loves shopping just for fun and so I'm very lucky that I benefit from this. I will shop for things as well and have fun but...
Wonderful, isn't it? And you wonder afterwards, what took me so long? :battingeyelashes:
I wouldn't describe my feelings as jealousy, but I am happy for GGs since they are fortunate to have been born that way, having their entire lives to explore what it means to be female to each...
This is a very interesting question. I know Theresa has been a work in progress for me many years. She has been evolving over the years as my perception of feminity has been changing over the same...
It sounds so wonderful, but I agree with Stephanie, I'd be cautious and careful for awhile.
