I'm not a parent but I can only think that, as with many things, if you don't make a big deal out of it and don't treat it like it's something shameful, then your kids won't think anything of it...
Hahaha one of my biggest problems is that I can't tell when someone is hinting at an offer. I'm really oblivious that way.
I just have to wonder why the department store would snitch on the kid like that. Unless someone who worked there was close enough to the kid's parents to not keep a secret? Very weird, and...
All of you folks talking about how it's the hair that does it makes me think of "Wig In a Box" from the musical/movie Hedwig and the Angry Inch:

Wow, that's scary. I'm sorry that that happened to you.
I'd like to fantasize that my life would be some nonstop orgy of bareback sex with a whole bunch of people of varying genders but the fact is that I'm shy and introverted and have trouble asking...
I agree that the first meeting should be in public if at all possible.
If you do get to a point where you're going to go somewhere alone with someone you don't know all that well, one good idea is...
I'm nearly completely bald up top. My hair has been in retreat since the GHWBush administration.
Even when I had hair it was terrible. Back when I had hair in college I tried growing it out. ...
Strictly boy toys here. I was a junior geek who liked to build things: Legos, Erector set, Tinkertoys. Didn't really have any great desire to hold play tea parties, play with dolls, etc., but if...
"I didn't look terrible"? "Sorta"? Hell with that, you look STUNNING. :cheer:
I'm a not-so-tall kinda-fat dude with ... some pretty drastic body-image issues, at least in my male persona. And,...
Wow, you look fabulous! Congratulations!
I was really really little and tried on some of my mom's clothes. My mom freaked out because she didn't want my dad to see me like that. He was really homophobic and gender-normative, also prone to...
"You've got red on you."
I think you meant "palette" but I had fun picturing your wife dropping off an entire pallet of makeup with a forklift.
I hope things continue to improve.
Try OKCupid, I had a profile on there for a while as my male self. They're pretty GLBT friendly and I don't think they'd remove a photo of you en femme for such a ridiculous reason.
The worst...
So glad for your good news!
Good luck with your medical issues. Hope it turns out to be nothing.
People have accused me of being some sort of nut ... :bonk:
Hi, I'm new here, and, well, just starting down the path to dressing as a woman.
I picked "Emily" almost at random and because it's a common name for women a few years younger than me, kinda like...
Wow, there are a lot of us who ride motorbikes here. I'm another. Some other risky sports have been mentioned in this thread as well. I wonder if there's some sort of connection between CDing and...
