For each & every person, this can be so different so I can only speak for myself.
For me, I tried to quit, shut it out, be a man etc, but it had completely the opposite effect. I thought about it...
I think in this day & age long hair alone wouldn't arouse suspicion. Maybe a feminine style, cut & colour could though.
That's really tough, I feel for you. I hope you work things out although I do think it was very invasive of your mother to go through your things like that.
Fingers crossed for you for a good...
I'll always be back & forth with this. I recently went over a year without dressing for a multitude of reasons only for it to come back stronger. I think it's learning how to deal with it that's the...
I just keep mine neat with an electric trimmer, then pluck to shape just a little so it still looks ok for guy mode. I don't think brows need to be too thin for a feminine look.
Take a look at Mila...
If its a really thin heel you're wearing, it can make finding your balance a little difficult at first. Try a pair with a slightly thicker heel to get used to it & you'll be comfortable in no time,...
You look really well put together & so happy, lovely that you have an accepting wife too:)
All or nothing for me or it just doesn't feel right.
Nice post Carla, cheered me up reading this:) Great that you're feeling so comfortable with yourself.
Lovely post & you have a great father:)
That's awesome Tracii, love your confidence & the acceptance from your old friends. An uplifting read:)
Thanks for the responses, all nice to read. A lovely insight into what makes us tick on a personal level:)
As for me, despite the ups & downs of crossdressing, I have some nice memories too.

Just go with it, sounds a wonderful safe envirnonment for a bit of fun:)
Good for you Becky:) hope you had fun.
Although I've pretty much accepted this side of myself, I do tend to think too much sometimes & feel like theres something wrong with me.
I've never purged though, getting rid of my things won't...
I'm almost 5'10' & love wearing heels.:)
I don't have one but I'd love to wear a wedding dress, theres just something so ultimately feminine about it. I've even dreamed about it, but the practicalities of storage etc & the likelyhood of...
Lets hear some of your happiest memories as a crossdresser.
Anything you like, whether it be the first time you dressed, an outing, or maybe an interaction or moment of acceptance.
Whatever...
This is how I feel Teresa, I do think it could it could be genetics & there was certainly a trigger point for me at a very early age.
Well you're included & fit in just fine here. Maybe it was just a bad night?
I know what you mean about feeling you're on the outside looking in, sometimes my mind drifts a little when I have a...
A digital SLR camera would probably take the best pics but bridge cameras are a bit cheaper & can still work pretty good. I use a Fuji S7000 which is ok but it eats the batteries way too quickly. I...
I like your style & confidence, I probably would have went red & left the store empty handed:o
Good for you, bet it was a rush for you:)
Although there are lots of things I like about being male, I think I would have loved to have been born female. Maybe life would be a little easier without the confusion:doh:
