that until the world becomes a more accepting place for us all, that I remember to find those things that bring joy and laughter to my day. One place I find that is right here. Love, Larissa
I wish... :(
I've worn both. But when prom time comes around each year I eagerly look forward to the new designs.
Prom dresses for me.
The fact that you have access to the internet is a terrific start. Lots of information at your finger tips (nail polish is optional). :heehee:
I'm in the same situation. There are times when all I can think of is getting dressed up.
And why drab is so boring... :(
Thank you Charity for sharing your insight.
When I first started buying women's clothes (always in drab) I was very, very self conscious. That probably helped the teen girls spot me (that and...
I didn't realize what a motivator my weight loss could be. When I went from a size 24 to a 16 I opened up a whole new world of sexier clothes! Now if I could only get down to a 12...
I'm lucky to get a chance to dress once a month. Wearing a bra every now and then helps keep me in touch with my other side.
There's something about an underwire bra that just "feels right". I guess my underwire bras support both my breasts and my sense of who Larissa is.
I agree with Candy. Don't over think this one.
Go. Have a good time.
Sandy, thank you for sharing your wonderful story. Goodwill has become my favorite place to shop. Maybe I'll work up the courage to ask about wigs!
I have a wonderful red bride's maid dress. Now I'll have a reason to find shoes to match! :GD:
I always search the racks for a prom dress (I guess like a lot of girls I dream of going to the prom).
Recently, I found a David's Bridal gown in my size! The best part, it was only $8!!
Short skirts look more girly, long skirts feel more girly. Guess I love them all!
I would add to what JoAnn said, when I dress I feel WONDERFUL!
Now when I shop, I almost enjoy touching the materials as I do wearing them.
Another vote for sleeping with breast forms. I love the feeling.
Not only does Shania's song get my vote, if I were to go on Celebrity Look-a-like, I would love to look like her too!
38C (padded, no forms) and 14/16/18 dress (I love my thrift stores where I can try everything on!).
I agree with Niki.
I never get over the feeling of wearing a bra. Finish that off with a lovely gown... :c9:
Lucky girl! I can imagine that would be a fun thing to do in a convertible with the top down.
I think it was on What Not To Wear that they suggested flaired jeans to help a less than curvy figure look curvy. Hey, if it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me! Go for it girl!
My wife knew before the wedding. She is still uncomfortable with the fact.
Like so many here: no in real life; yes it were magically reversible.
