Not sure if HRT talk is taboo here or not, but I can say that the dosage is low and HRT doesn't affect your voice anyway when going mtf. I'm only going to be on what's necessary for my mental...

I think I started back in May of last yer (2014). Pretty much the key for me has been to just relax and be myself and pretty much operate in my own little world (don't look at people directly).

Ah, I apologize for that. In the circles I am apart of, transgender is often synonymous with transexual, so I use the terms interchangeably. My mistake!

Much like you, I never really underdress. I do wear my underwear with male presentation, but that's only out of practicality and comfort. I'll wear boxers still as part of my daily wear, but...
I've pretty much taken a passive role in the forums over the past year as I've come to terms with my own gender identity and where I stand regarding the gender spectrum. I've made posts in the...
The thing is, I see a lot of discussion about how there's a distinct line between being transgender and "just a crossdresser". What astonishes me is that those I've talked to those who are...
I've done it before. I think I enjoy the processing bringing together a costume more than the actual act of wearing out. Most of the time I'm completely out classed lol.
As for the chat room, there's #r.crossdressing on irc.freenode.net if you want to dust off your IRC client (or use the free one here: http://webchat.freenode.net/ ).
As for 1, 3, and 5 - I like to...
You know, I actually dress solely for looks. I find that my baggier male clothes to be much more comfortable than my female clothes. I don't find my girl clothes to be uncomfortable, but when I'm in...
I have a separate Facebook account only because Daisy has a bigger online presence than in "real life". I do post Daisy related stuff under my male account, but I post nothing Travis only related as...
My wife is accepting and said she would stick through a transition, but I've chosen to forego transitioning. The value gained for me isn't worth the hardships that it would bring to her and my...
I agree with Nadine. I feel the term "dominate" may have negative connotations here. I feel as if I'm one of the dominant cross dressers. By that I mean I don't play submissive, I make my own path,...
Of course I say yes to everyone of these questions. I'll take it a bit further. I dress for myself, for my personal enjoyment without the approval of others. However, I do desire affirmation and...
I used to try to achieve that fantasy girl image, but that died a while ago. What you see is basically what I became as a result of melding my existing personality with my feminine traits and...
I'll jump on the "it doesn't really relax me" side of the fence. I find gym shorts and a loose t-shirt vastly more relaxing than a skirt and blouse. But dressing up does make me feel good when I do...
What would you expect her to say? Or rather, what could she say that would convince that she wasn't appalled by what you did that day?
1. I'm honestly not sure if I've been clocked. The only time I absolute knew I was passing was when I was out in Halloween and I spoke in my male voice. I'd get shocked reactions and then I knew for...
I definitely enjoy it more than I analyze it. But it took a long time to find myself in it all. Once I got to a point where I realized that the female "side" of me wasn't a side at all and that I...
I take serious offense to this. I didn't like the way I looked at 250lbs and I was convinced that it was "tough luck". Body acceptance is one thing but refusing to believe you can't do anything about...
Obviously the key difference with your case is hormonal differences in your body. I got to where I am through diet and exercise and I've ended up with atypical male proportions (my hips are wider...
Maybe a woman's choice to not date a CD/TS person is just their personal preference. Why must we blame society or other concept and just accept that some women simply don't like it? I don't prefer...
To add the conversation, I will ask the tough question:
Is it easier to accept "not passing" if you're closer to passing? I remember when I started years ago the idea of passing seemed so far...
I agree that everyone has the desire to be more attractive and there's nothing wrong with this. But someone posed the idea of "passing" to actually be sort of toxic in a way. If someone reads you as...
In all fairness, drag queen is simply an entertainer. It's not meant to be derogatory or anything. It's like people who may not understand sports who might say getting a touchdown in football is a...
I'm not entirely sure how I should be answering this, but my desire for female gender clothing dates as far back as 4. I remember actively trying to seek out ways to try on my cousin's church...
