My favorite Halloween costumes were always femme (princess etc.) ... as I got older, so did the look (my last time trick-or-treating was at 16, dressed as a hooker). School plays and other "dress up" opportunites, I wanted the femme costume/role. Always wore undies whenever I could ... and then about 4 years ago, decided to go all out .. got my own wardrobe and shoes ... started going out when time permitted. So to answer the question ... probably in the region of 40 years in one form or another ... but 4 years as an accepted part of me and who I am

started at 5 but my mom told my recently (when I came out to my parents) that I stole some panties in a shop when I was 3 (lol) sadly I have no memories of this. I'am 41 now so ....36 years (35 in the closet.... )
Ever since I was 5-6 years old, so it's 50 years. I had to play with my older sister & her friends because there were no boys my age in the neighborhood. So we played all girls games including dressup. I got hooked dressing really young, and even after I was older & didn't play with the girls any more, i dressed secretly & never stopped.
I've been CDing for about 20 minutes now. Well that's just today.
I first wanted to CD about 38 years ago but I don't think I actually did put on my mom's clothes until about 33 years ago.

Well, I started off just wearing shoes, and then stockings and shoes. That was on and off since my late teens.
I decided in my early twenties that I wanted to have the whole package and went to WildSide in Toronto. When I saw the finished product in the mirror I said to myself "yep, this is definitely the other me".
In total I guess it's been around the 20 year mark for me.
10 X 5 + 1 or 2 = 51 to 52 years, THANKS A LOT. I hadn't thought about ituntil now!!! geeeez how time flies when your having fun!!

l been cross dressing for almost 7yrs never been in public place just at home
Between 40 and 50 years. Started a long time ago by wearing my mother's and sister's clothes. Then quit for a few years and am getting better and better at it as time goes by. Used to love staying home from school so I could try on clothes and loved those older stockings with garters. Much better than pantyhose. And of course a bra stuffed with stockings.
... that I barely remember. I may have started when I was about 4 or 5, with my sisters clothes. But I wasn't able to fully dress until about a year ago. Counting the early years it has been a 30+ year long roller coaster ride!
