Hi Andy, that sounds really nice to me, and if a breeze makes it flutter a bit, even better.
Way back in the olden days, before I had ever bought any of my own femme attire, I would always "borrow" either a full length black slip, or a shorter hunter green chemise from my wife for lounging. Thanks for the memory.
btw, I greatly prefer a screwdriver 2 a g&t.
I can't stand it any longer, I have to go buy a slip now.
Everybody wears one, don't they? But I've never tried one on.
But, nylon or satin? What's the best choice?
Andy,
Sounds nice!
I just wanted to ask you a question. Please don't take offense. In Scotland the guys do wear kilts which are like skirts. This is part of your custom. So if a guy pushes the envelope and wears a skirt is that looked upon as unusual since kilts are common place?
Just was curious.

You will be amazed at how different your clothing will look and feel while wearing a slip.
The ultimate is a full slip and works best with dresses... or just wear it alone to lounge around in!!!
TIP: If your slip does start to cling to your legs, just rub some moisture lotion or hand cream on your legs or even on your hose. No more cling!!!
Got to have some slips, Ronnie!!! A girl just isn't properly dressed without one! ...or two ...or three ...or ten ...or more!!!

Ther is definately no better feeling than a slip rubbing on your legs and a little lace poking out the bottom of your skirt ...reading one reply i thought how funny it would have been to be born scottish because my kilt would have to be short with a slip worn under it and lace sticking out .... :eyes:

TRY IT IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DONT DO IT AGAIN

Guess I'm an oddball but I don't like 'em. It's always too hot to overdress here. The less the better. Maybe someday I'll get the itch but right now I don't see a need for them.
Well, I just bought my first slip. It's just plain white but I love it!
Wanna see?
Now I know what everyone is talking about.
I have always admired them but never had the pleasure of wearing one before.
here is one of my favorites.

Lissa, that is now one of my favorites too!
Nice picture.
I have always worn slips. I ***never*** wear a dress or skirt without one. With a dress I always wear a full slip, usually a Vanity Fair. I simply cannot imagine being dressed without a slip on .... just t'isn't ladylike not to wear one! Oh, and did I mention how nice they feel?? .... soft & smooth & silky.....
you GUESS you're an oddball ? Tris, we've all known that for months.Originally Posted by Tristen Cox

I used to like nylon, but now I find lycra-microfibre is much nicer. It's softer and absorbent. But it doesn't slide around on your skin quite the same as nylon or satin.

A smooth nylon slip. That's how I got started. At 13 I began to wear my mother's smooth satin slips over her nylons, garters and panties. What feelings unfolded. I becamed hooked into CDing. Now I wear slips under summer dresses and pleaded skirts all swishing against my nylon legs. There is nothing like it to evoke your femininity.

I must to confess to a weakness for slips too. it's a pity women seldom wear them now.
Oh, now I understand!
You're supposed to wear them underneath something!
How silly of me!
Look at this site, you'll love it: http://www.mary-michele.com
I love slips too! I just bought two satin slips from Victoria's Secret. One in pale pink, the other black. They're cut reeeally loooow in the back and have crisscross spagetti straps. And they feel sooo good for lounging with just a pair of satin panties on underneath...
(Don't worry 'bout Tristen, she's got no class.)
You can dress me up but you can't take me out...at least not yet.

Yeah how many girl MY AGE do you know that wear them hmmm?
Here is my favorite silky nylon half slip. It feels fantastic under my satin lined skirt.
You have no interest in slips that look like this? I would think with a bod like yours you would cherish them. But, I guess we MORE MATURE ladies just have a more refined taste in lingerie than you kiddies.

A kilt , a real Scottish one, is a particular very very obvious piece of clothing. It has a certain length of material and a certain number of pleats. It has to come to a certain length on your leg or it is just 'wrong'.. It is cut a certain way and so when someone is wearing a kilt it is as obvious as if they were wearing a boiler suit. It's a kilt for a man.Originally Posted by emmicd
So, sorry. No you can't push the envelope. There is no room to move without it just being plain 'wrong'.
Dance kilts for women, they are sexy as hell, but they have their own rules. And you can tell from half a mile away, one from the other. It's a shame but true.
And so back to the slip thread...
Bought a real nice black 20" full slip today for only $10 at Wal Mart. Fits real nice and made me ALMOST not want to put the dress on over it!
Thanks for the thread or I might not have bought it!
