I have somtimes seen large earings on guys and IMO it just looks very strange.
Stick to the small studs as I do.
I wear one earring--up to a quarter in size every day, anywhere. I get the occasional comment which I just shrug off with "I'm an artist--what'd ya expect?" Had my ear pierced about 7-8 years ago with wife & kids' OK (daughter held my hand).
I want to get my other ear pierced, which I don't think wifey would like but she's grown somewhat accustomed to my 'rings and slightly femme sweaters & such.
Earrings on guys are almost commonplace now in USA.

You will become stronger in the ways of the Pink Fog. May the Pink Fog guide you and be with you now and forever.
At one time or another I've worn all my fem earrings in boy mode. Large hoops, giant hoops, dangles, colors... you name it. I thought they looked out of place, but hoped it was just a matter of getting used to them. I didn't find that to be the case. Some might be able to pull it off, but not me. I have no idea why the same earrings tha I love in fem mode just don't "transition" into boy mode. They just don't. Of all the things I do in a genderbending mood, big flashy earrings are, to me, the least transitionable. Big roller-set hair, OK. Girly tops, OK. Girl's jeans, really OK. Heels, OK. Makeup, OK. Big flash earrings... ridiculous! I don't understand it, I just know that's (unfortunately) how it is.
