I love this idea, Count me in.
I love this idea, Count me in.
Every Friday sounds great. Count me in.
I have had some thoughts on this... See what everyone thinks...
I thought we should adopt a black rubber band. Here is why? I know black is usually associated with death or mourning. That is not what I mean. As I have been out the last two Fridays with my rubber band of no significant color, I have seen yellow, red, pink. I wonder if they are CDers, but realize it is unlikely. All of those colors have some other significance. We all love a Black Dress, so why not. Black, as far as I know, is not taken by anything else, and would stand out as different.
If in doubt, and you see someone else with a rubber band on, play with the band, snap it... something to say, "I see yours, do you see mine?"
I am just suggesting. If anyone has any other thoughts, it would be great. I would like to know what everyone thinks of my ideas.
i'm in as well. i'll pick blue cause it's on of my favorite colours.
Wot a cool idea, hope it catches on in the uk
Sophie May, Sophie May not
Tomorrow is Friday! I hope that everyone will wear a rubber band on her left wrist and watch for others doing the same. I haven't had any real luck with this, but I'm not giving up. I hope that you won't give up either.
warmly, Linnea
Jill be out and about with her rubber band on
You can bet I will.
In lieu of rubber bands..... I'm wearin my bra over my top tommorow!!
Yeah!!! They have more rubber in them than a box full of rubber bands!! Lol.
Would a hair tie be ok? I don't have any rubber bands...
I wore mine last week with no luck. Ready for this week. I keep 2 rubber bands in the cup holder in my truck. Denise
Loni will be out and about.
I'll be helping my sister install some pantry shelving so there may not be much of a chance that I'll be spotted by another dresser, but I still plan to wear my rubber band. If she sees it and asks what it's for I'll tell her I can use it on the shelves if I run out of screws.

When I read or hear the word Friday I automatically reach for my rubberband now. I will be having lunch with a new lady friend tomorrow. It will be the first time I have met her in person and if she ask about the rubberband I will tell her I am a cder. She can only run away screaming or ask questions.

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
This rubber band thing seems kind of ambiguous. How about a red hair elastic around the left wrist instead?
I'll have mine on too.
What's the chance that of the 500 people that read this.. Spread accross North America and Europe... (600 million people? Half being males = 300 million and say 75% over 18..... = 225 million ). and say all 500 wear their rubber band... That's 1 in 450 thousand... Not good odds you will ever see anyone else with one unless we just all meet at someones house Friday and look at each other! Who has a room that will handle 500?? Lol.
I guess I'll have to settle for the rubber band. I don't have a playtex bra.
If you had a box of rubber bands you could probably knit one, Alice?
My left wrist is kind of full with a watch and my purple complaint free world wrist band, so I will be using my right hand
