i am learning a bit of spanish to visit mexico. i am noticing that there are separate ways of referring to oneself by gender if you are male vs. female (no pun intended). too bad we dont have that luxury when we are dressed, for example, in girls clothes, light shade lipsitick/nailpolish, some jewelry etc. not 'en femme' as in presenting as a girl. it would be neat to be able to top it off with a feminine self references. maybe i will try it even though i will be dressed drab just to see if i get corrected!
