Do you look younger when you dress?

While I don't have a great deal of grey hair yet, my wig has none, so I believe I look much younger when I dress.

That's a big 10-4. The wig, along with makup, and stockings and high heels take 20 years off my appearance.

Yes, definitely. I would expect that based on all the prep work that we do. A wig really does help hide the truth!

I would like to think so, but when I see pictures of myself (drab or dressed) I see every line. Then again, I've always been terrible insecure about my imperfections.

    I think so

But it could just be the lack of grey hair - in what little hair I have left!

If I look younger or not is something I can't answer because others have to make that decision. I do know that I feel younger by selection of clothing, make up, etc. As Alice I'm a different person, thus comparison of my female persona to my male side is difficult. But, for an old geezer I'm younger.

    sure

but I'm not sure that the change is any different from any GG who adds a bit of makeup and works all that magic!

Most people can't believe that I'm close to 50 in guy mode, much less in girl mode. Makeup does take the years off a bit, luckily. The clothes that I wear aren't exactly the clothes of a 50 year-old either. Maybe someday I'll dress my age - but not yet.

At 55 I feel alot younger but look just a little younger. When I put my wig and makeup on most people think I look in my 30's or early 40's. I generally dress for a young 30's look except when going to clubs. There I wear whatever hits my fancy. At least within reason.

As soon as my facial hair went away, everyone said I lost 10 years off my age, without question... which works for me, as I would rather dress to match the younger crowds anyway when not in sudo-work mode. When I need to pull off classy & proper, I generally end up still looking about -5 less than official. Course, I need to keep dying my hair now as I'm starting to go gray, so I'll end up keeping my haircolor on the younger side until I start feeling the need to go a step lighter every few years, etc. No wigs for me yet.

With out a doubt dressing takes at least 10 years off. I am 45 and people always tell me I look, at the most 35, and when I dress, I was told by a few at work that I look about 25-30.

I'm probably my own worst critic on this subject. However, I was out with other girls recently and when the age topic came up, they were all surprised at my age. Well, it made me feel good, anyway. So, that's a "YES"

Yes, for sure, or so I've been told often.

But nothing can change the age inside...

In one day between SA's at Fashion Bug and Ulta they guseed my age to be anywhere from early forties to late forties.
When I told both of them I was 62 and a grandfather they were shocked and I got the usual" no way!"... to which I replied. WAY!

Seeing as I have white hair, when I wear a wig I look younger. Although I have long hair and don't always wear a wig.

Actually, I look younger, smarter, more successful, or any other adjective that I can dream up. Yeah sure, don't I wish! Truthfully, those are opinions best left to someone beside myself. Answering this falls within the parameters of a lady never discussing her true age, weight, or natural hair color.

I think I look younger presenting as a man, about four or five years younger than I actually am. When presenting as a woman, I'd say about eight to ten years younger. So, the answer is "yes."
