Depends on the forms. Some are resistant to chlorine and salt water, hence can be used in pools and/or the sea, check with the manufacturer. In addition, you'll need to get a swimsuit with pockets to accommodate your forms (much like a mastectomy bra).

    Happy swimming!

Your best bet is sponge balls, you can buy them at any toy store...I made the mistake of trying balloons and one of them popped out and I had to swim desperately after it and stuff it back in my suit before anyone noticed, embarrassing moment! If you can't find sponge balls you like, bath sponges work okay too.

    1. Google "mastectomy swimwear", that should get you started.

    2. Check the manufacturer's website to be sure.

A normal one piece swimsuit would be fine.

I've been swimming with my Pals forms, for the last three years. They have changed in color from the chlorine in the pool water.

This post is cute. When I was in transition I also gave this some thought but I myself abandoned the thought.

I figured that even if I could get the top part correct, the bottom would still be a problem.

One a different note there is a nude beach near where I live. One of the trans girls goes there. She has a beautiful body and looks great. She goes nude and ummm she is pre-opp!!!!!!!!

First time I saw her I was sooo stunned but all the while mentally gave her cudos for having the balls (so to say) to do something that I could never have done.

I use a swim suit that has a pocket slide the form in there ((Depending on the size)) Also you can get a tight 2 piece swim top I found a halter style top i love that completely covers my form and wont let it slide. I have worn it in the Atlantic ocean.

    Swimming with Forms

I've never done this but it sounds like fun.

Anyway the Breast Form store might have a suggestion as to what to do. They also might have a suit that would work.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

Have a look at http://www.amoena.com/global. They do breast forms specifically for swimming, and also have a large range of swimwear with the appropriate pockets in them.

I've bought contact forms and bras from them a few months ago, and they offer excellent service. You're free to return anything you don't like with 14 days (I think) and the return postage is free. Bear in mind this is the UK store I dealt with, but I imagine it would be pretty similar elsewhere too!

Hope you find what you're looking for.

With Hollister's you probably don't need a swim suit with pockets for the forms. Might also avoid them slipping around and looking odd.
There is a road—no simple highway—between the dawn and the dark of night.
And if you go no one may follow. That path is for your steps alone.

Well first it would help if you know how to swim! If not the right forms will work like water wings. Then you just need the right top or suit to hold them in. Wouldn't reccommend skinny dipping with a form held by a water soluble glue! If you can't swim you'll sink as they drift away!

Yes, I swim with forms. You should glue firmly to your chest, and wear a tighter top than usual. I have had no problems swimming. I would not recommend diving though.

I figgured if I went for a swim, I could just stuff a knee high with some pollyfill. Cheep, and easy.
What I wanna know is, what am I going to do about my hair at the pool?!?!?!

    Re: breastforms and swimming

I have thought about this, but without being able to shave, I could never pull this off.
