Today at a bank, not my own and in my work uniform, the lady behind the counter said "I'll be right with you mam". I was looking around to see who she was talking to and realized I was the only one in line. She said when I got to do my bussiness she had only glanced up and since I am letting my hair and nails grow, as well as the way I was standing she thought I was a woman. She did apoligise, but I think my hard work is paying off.
Life is too short to not be who you are.
Has to be a wonderful feeling. You must've been giddy after that!

Hay one person thought i was a girl over the phone
My mother told me the person who was trying to ring her mobile said that she got her daughter, she corrected her by saying i think it might of been me insted.
It has happened to me a couple of times before
I would have preferred that she didn't apologize for calling you ma'am.

i was mam'd in the hospital today, it was a mistake by the philippino nurse.
hard to mistake me at that time for a girl, three days of fur growth on the face. it must be a good 1/2 long already.
