im going to get in my swimsuit and go to the beach at galveston
I'm going to be out in public for the first time.
enjoying my last few hours of dressing.....high school reunion tomorrow night and who knows what'll happen after that lol
I just hope that those of you who are going to dress enfemme remember to do it in red, white, and blue!! Those are our colors you know!! I will be dressed that way!!

I wanted to add something. I used to just love the fireworks on the fourth. I still do enjoy some, but, i just hate seeing the whole thing become one big party. I grieve for my country now. I grieve for the animals that are terrified, and get lost, because of all the illegal boom-booms, that sound like a grenade, or artillery shell. The animals don't know we are celebrating our fredom. I remember when fireworks were less noisy. Those super loud illegal ones should not be allowed. Jackasses who blow them off, don't know anything aboput the history of the founding of it. It's just a time to drink, and make noise. It gets old.

I never go “out” on designated holidays. The number of chemically altered people and law enforcement presence makes the potential risk greatly outweigh any amount of fun I could possible experience.
I will stay home as usual, put on my LBD (but not my 5“ pumps, lol), fill a cocktail shaker with some 40 year old bourbon, and crawl up on my roof. I can clearly watch 4 different public fireworks displays from there.

I got a room for myself in Atlantic City and am gonna have a great time.
got off work at 3:45 this am (saturday) and back to work by 2:30 am sunday. if lucky i can get back home by 7:am monday. then two days of sleep.

I'll be spending all three days on the beach. I've got my bikini all picked out...
I'm supposed to go with my sister to get my first pedi today. Maybe I'll get red, white , and blue? Have a happy 4th everyone!!
Definitely dress for the pre 4th party but unfortunantely have a 4th bbq to go to so all we have is these 2 nites. Bummer but still very enjoyable 4th of July weekend. Kind of makes you appreciate the freedoms we have as Americans while we lounge in our feminine finery and sip our cocktails. Happy 4th everyone!

Happy Fourth, everyone! No parties or pool time for me, but I'm being "American" by wearing a tight t-shirt and the shortest jean shorts I have, and grilling a couple of burgers on the patio for dinner. I can't see any of the local fireworks displays from my apartment, but I can definitely hear them, and maybe they'll be on TV.
