I feel so much better after scheduling my first appointment for therapy! I was hesitant at first to reach out to someone outside of my comfort circle but I felt it was a necessary step. I explained to the counselor how I feel and what direction I'd like to go in terms of the topics I'd like to address. She was very professional, polite and understanding of my needs which was a huge relief!
I feel very good about taking this step forward. It makes me feel that I am actually taking my life into my own hands and making the necessary steps and decisions to find my true happiness! My appointment is for next Wed but just taking that first step was big for me.
I am very excited and thought I would share my excitement with everyone.
