Try checking out the Playtex Just MY Size bras, I think they come in a or nearly b. Not real sure, been a long time since I was a ab.

A search at Froogle and Yahoo Shopping for "40a bra" turned up a number of them, even some with lace.

I went on my two fave lingerie sites: herroom.com, and figleaves.com, and searched for 40A. A few styles (including Amoena) came up.

I also tried a search for 38A, and POW, a smorgasbord. You might experiment, but if you can swing using an extender in back to give you the extra two inches for comfort, you might consider this route, as you will have many more options.

    Love,

http://www.justmysize.com now has Glamorize brand bras in size 38-58 A and B cup.

They only have three styles. The sports bra style one is "ok" but the two standard back hook are ugly.

Why do companies still think large woman do not want to look sexy?

I agree about the Barely There Microfiber Crop Top. That is my favorite bra of all time. I encourage every one of you to try one of these one time and see how nice it feels on you. And don't be scared off by them not being in your size. My chest was 44 last year, but their XL bra fit just fine. In fact, a sales clerk at a department store actually recommended that bra as one that would fit me. She was right.

When one is as large as I am (48A/B) beggers can't be choosers. I bought 2 of these bras, one back hook and the other the racer back. I like the racer back much, much more both for it's appearance and the fact that the straps don't slide off my shoulders (a little slope shouldered here). If I have any quibble, it's that there're 6 hooks when, it seems to me, that 4 would have done just fine.
