this is a difficult call for me. I have a few "favorite" outfits including several cute tops and a pencil skirt, some sweater dresses and formal dresses. I have a harder time finding occassions where any of these outfits are appropriate. I hate to be the only person present wearing a dress!
Shoes and nail polish.

If I had to pick one item, I guess it would be a bra. But I really like the whole package, being fully dressed with wig, makeup, jewellry, and accessories. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
For me if I start to get dressed I'm not happy until I'm putting on lipstick as the final touch. I love the business woman look. Mostly I dress that way.
Anything that makes me feel feminine. Of course my bra and forms are what does that best for me.
I don't wear women's clothes, I wear MY clothes !
High heels, long nails, pretty earrings. I'm almost 24/7 on all those anyway now.

I'm with you there Anne. For me the uniquely feminine garment is the long slip as designed and made in the 50's and 60's. The best were so beautifully made with lovely complex lace around the bust and at he hem. The material is deliciously soft and sensual and when you wear one beneath a dress or a long skirt, the interaction of the two feels wonderful and so elegant. Some of the manufacturers, such as Van Raalte made superbly elegant slips. You can find lovely examples of these slips on E Bay.
