Another tip for finding / adding friends - scroll through your existing friends friends list :-) I've found a few of the ladies from here that way.

I'm out there too, my address is in my signature file, so look me up if you want. I have two profiles as well and run one through Internet Explorer and the second one through Safari to keep them from cross-pollinating and creating strange looks on the faces of those who only know my guy side.

This is my solution, too, except I use Firefox and Safari. Facebook and Google are trying really hard to link all our computing and online activities, so you have to take steps like this if you need to keep your gender identities separate. And even then, you have to be careful about your profile content, avoiding dual interests, friends, etc.
