    Collge/university girls here?

I'm aware there is an 18-25 club here, but students are of all ages. Are there many students like myself on the forum? I'm closeted, on a budget and have to make sure no one at my place comes across my femme stuff when people are over. Do any of you have these problems as well being a crossdressing student?

When I was living with a roommate in college last year, I hid all of my femme stuff in a drawer under some of my drab clothes. Later I moved that stuff deeper into the closet under some bags. Nothing was found by anyone, and if they did, they didn't say anything about it. Luckily people didn't come to my room all that often, and my roommate wasn't really the nosy type.
Back on the forums! But still very much closeted.

Lol, I do the same. In fact, recently my roommate knocked on my bedroom door while I was dressed and my wig was on my bed. I had to hide all that quickly

When I was your age I was in college and living in a dorm (a room alone thank goodness), and had the same problem. Had to hide everything I had in a tiny room from prying eyes. Next year I told my friends (only had a few at the time) I was a TV didn't have to hide it anymore, but I wouldn't do that unless you are really sure they will react ok and not tell others (things like that can spread fast in a schools.)

Yeah I'm in a similar position too. One of my housemates comes to talk in my room quite often and as I've been dressing more recently it means i've been having to pop off the bra and blouse very fast and pretend that he's just woken me up from a nap before I open the door. I also worry about my lingerie moving to the front of the washing machine and being spotted before I have a chance to get it out. I haven't got a wig yet but I've had to hide other garments under the covers very fast.

hahaha i do the same thing melissa! I live in a dorm with a roommate and I always try to act sort of dazed and out of it if he comes back and I have the door locked! I keep my things hidden in a drawer in the bottom of my closet. no issues there. Hiding my clothes hasnt really been a problem in college, its more just getting chances to dress!

Katie, you're young. Think a bit about your the future. Is your whole life going to be one of sneaking around and deceiving people? Hypothetically consider how bad it would be if you came out to the people in your dorm that your crossdress. How does your college treat LGBT persons these days? They probably have some positive policies regarding it. I suspect-- just suspect-- it would only surprise a few people for a little while, then it would blow over and be a non-issue. Just imagine if you could walk around campus dressed as you wish. Maybe this won't happen, but it's worth thinking about. My guess is it wouldn't be as bad as you think.

Anywho, I'm very out, and open on campus and everythings's been cool, but then again, I'm also on a comuter campus.....

I'm a university student living in a house with 5 others (including my girlfriend), so it's hard for me to find time to get dressed without there being a risk of getting caught. That said, I think it's easier than living in halls last year as in a house there's a living room for socialising, meaning there's no real reason for people to go into my room. Even if they did, my clothes are in the wardrobe in a bag in a bag, and if anyone asks they're all empty!
It's also a problem if I want to buy stuff as it'd be very conspicuous if I were to walk through the door with shopping in my hands, and if I order something then it will be delivered with my name on it and in (possibly) branded packaging. I've managed to get around this by ordering stuff in-store, then walking to the shops with a shoulder bag to collect it.
In case anyone is wondering, my girlfriend does know (I told her a year ago a little while after we started going out) but since then neither of us have brought it up and she didn't exactly seem keen on the whole idea. It's difficult for me at times but I get by ok.
