I just started trying to reach out and find other local C/D and I can't believe how hard it is.
I have been looking for days. I thought it wouldn't be that hard but it is.Do you have any suggestions on how to find people. I just want someone in person to talk to, not that all my friends here aren't awesome,but telling someone in person would help me to move foward to talk to my wife.
Well, this is definitely the site for finding people in the community! One thing that would help you find people locally might be saying what area you're in? Members on this forum come from all over the world, so letting us know where you're from is the first step.

There are support groups in every state and in a city as large as Honolulu, you are sure to find one.

Darn, I was in Honolulu only a few months ago.
You can also check meetup.com in your local area.After reaching the meetup site,just key in CD or tg,then your zip code and your local groups will come up.If you are in a small town,you may have to key in the zip from a larger town near you to get better group hits-results.
