My SO and I spent last weekend in Eureka Springs, AR.... what a great place. Went out dressed Sat night and had no problems at all. Hit several of the local bars.
Two different bar tenders told me that there is a CD "convention", or more likely a get together this Oct 26-27. I don't think the Enfemme Getaway that used to be there happens anymore, I know the website for that has not been updated in a few years. One said she thought a group from Kansas City or St. Louis was putting it on? She said that they were expecting a couple hundred people. They both also said that this group comes twice a year.
Does anyone have any information on it?
If you want a good fun place to go out dressed, I recommend Eureka Springs. Lots of nice inns and Bed & Breakfasts where you can stay and have good privacy also.
BTW, it is diversity weekend there this next weekend, their version of pride. Would also be a good time to go out dressed up!
