I'm just going to start a new thread with updates.

We're back from our out of state trip. No dressing other than panties and a bra a couple days. No boobs.

While we were gone, my necklace and low heeled pumps came in. We unpacked, I took a shower and shaved (it was a long trip), then started trying on my new skirts and blouses. I put on the pumps and necklace. My wife took a look, smiled and said "Next thing, you're going to want a wig and you'll be going out competing in drag shows." I assured her that I wouldn't.

The next afternoon, we were "cuddling" in the bed. I was wearing my panties, stretch shorts, bra, plain blouse, and my swimsuit pad "boobs". The talk turned to the boobs and she said I could probably get some at (the local adult store). I told her I could get some on line. She said "Just make sure they aren't bigger than mine." I'm going to order a pair as soon as the Breast Form Store opens (on the west coast). "C" cup.

After a while she said she was afraid I would go outside and embarass her. I assured her I wouldn't. She said I might forget that I was wearing a skirt or boobs and answer the door. I said I wouldn't. She said "I guess we could always say it was your sister." I said "Or my halloween costume." She said "That would work. We should get you a wig and take you out on halloween. You'll have practice walking in heels." (I'm getting better at steering the conversation. )

So that's where it stands today. I'm waiting for the boob store to open.

Ronda's advice is good! If I have anything to add, it would be to take it slow, and let her take the lead. My experience in the past is that our relationship transcended my cd'ing. It's taken 40+ years to get to where we are now (e.g. some of my recent posts) .. well worth the wait!

Linda, the patient and open approach has clearly worked with your wife. Once the forms are in I suspect the wig will soon follow. Perhaps you should ask your wife for advice in picking a wig out, and some help and practice with make up.

That's my plan with the wig. She seldom wears makeup but the last time she was putting some on I was watching her and she asked if I wanted some. We were heading out so I declined. She'll come around, especially if we go out on halloween.

If that is your true avatar, why would you buy forms you've got a lovely lady shape without them. Your hair length looks, so natural. Obviously this girls is very envious and can understand the patience of the wife.

Great. But go slow and don't make her uncomfortable. Make this process fun and keep her involved as much as she wants to be. My wife urged me to CD, step by step, because she realized how much I enjoyed it. She acutally initiated my CDing by challenging me to buy my first pair of high heels because she realized I enjoyed her in her heels so much. Maybe you can do special things for her while dressed (cleaning chores, neck rubs, massages). Give her small gifts, wrapped with care, when you dress. A card, note or poem works. Maybe she would enjoy matching heels or matching PJs. If she is not threatened, she will look forward to your CD growth and become part of it. Just do not forget about the person she fell in love with.

It's my "true avitar", but in the photo I am wearing home made forms and the hair is "photo enhanced" (I copied a wig from the Internet and pasted it onto my head).

I have been a changed person since I started dressing around her and with her knowledge and acceptance. I do the laundry ( I used to just throw the clothes in, now I fold them and put them away), I often cook, do the dishes, and I help with the housecleaning. If you've been following the story, we've been shopping together and she gets as much as I do.

I feel much nicer wearing panties and a bra just underdressing. I have more patience with others, I tend to join in conversations with her and her friends, etc. I really like the "new" me and I really love my wife for her understanding.

Boobs are on order. The size chart recommended size 10 but they suggested I might want to go with size 12 (there is no size 11). I ordered the size 10. I think my wife will be more accepting if I don't present as a porn star. Also, without hip and butt padding, I think the smaller boobs will look more natural.

Of course, I'm now counting the days until they get here!

Congratulations, Linda! This is a big step and a positive one for both of you!

I think you made the right choice, size wise. I ordered my first set of forms based on the recommendations on the Trukare website - based on band length and cup size...they ended up being ginormous! I backed off from an ASY 10 to an ASY 6 which I felt was more appropriate for my stature.

My boobs have been ordered and are on their way. Last night I was wearing my swimsuit pad boobs and a sack dress as my wife and I were sitting across from each other at the kitchen table eating steamed crabs. After a while she says to me (smiling) "Are your boobies getting in the way of your eating?" I said "No, are yours?" She said "No, but I've had years of practice, yours are new."

I'm beginning to think so.

So now it's normal and accepted for me to have "boobs" and wear female clothing and jewelry around the house.

It's killing me waiting for my new boobs to get here. They mailed them so the tracking isn't as good as UPS or FedX. All I know is they left WA on Sunday. My experience with USPS tracking is that I'll have the package before the next update.

Remember stay slow and low it is only six days since you started this thread.
I know the others are older and progress has been good.
I am just trying to temper your enthusiasm a little bit.
Its terrible the wait for boobs isn't it? Must be all of t h r e e days.

I'm just going with the flow. And I'm trying to keep it in check so as not to "upset the cart". No serious talking.

Sometimes there are hints that she is hesitant, other times, she has fun with it. Most of the time, she seems to be having fun with it.

There's someone coming over at 10:00 Am to check our dehumidifier, etc. today. Before she left this morning she said to me (with a smile on her face) "Don't be answering the door wearing your skirt and fake boobies."
