With the Olympics just ending i wondered what the scoop is on Gold Medalist in the decathalon from years ago Bruce jenner? I heard something about him crossdressing and wanted to know what the situation is. How cool is it that he could do both! Be the best at 10 track and field events and also crossdress!! makes sense to me with my extremes of macho/girly loves.
I never heard this. Jenner was at the US track and field Olympic trials. He is married but don't remember to whom although his daughters are famous for being famous.
Is'nt he married to a Kardashion?And what about that face lift he had?

It may of course be a bit disturbing to sense that one is really not so firmly anchored to the gender one was born into.

Thanks for the replies and I'll look at Eryn's link. I'm not out to spread dirt but to find the real truth. I would think a person of his stature could help our cause. I always had the utmost respect for Decathaletes and him in particular. I wish him well.
I have photos of 5 winners together, including Jenner. Took them at the Olympic Training Center in San Diego, while shooting for USOC.

But seriously, you make the issue of being a crossdresser as if it was a secret rumor.....like John Travolta being gay. Dennis Rodman, I mentioned was obviously not so secretive. Neither is Johnny Depp. Of Course in Johnny Depp's case, he admitted to being a cd'er mainly to plug for his movie Ed Wood, when it was released.

Not all of us are able to do so for a multitude of reasons. Nathalie, I think with respects to bruce Jenner that is what it is right now and I simply hoped to find out if there was truth to it. As far as your last line, should bruce Jenner make a public statement that he crossdresses, that would, as you say help our cause but I don't think he has chosen to do that, nor have I. Sorry to disappoint, Sarasometimes. Also could you let me know how you have followed your own advice. I notice your avatar simply has Northeast USA?? Thanks.

Jenner was outed by his ex-wife. Make what you will of that but if you wanted to really jab America's Greatest Athlete of the 76 Olympics would you say something like "He eats Dorritos and watches Porn"? Be that as it may, I would love for any TG who is famous to step up and claim it. The aforementioned people like Depp and Rodman did it for the money and shock value, not because they do it on a regular basis. There are plenty of good role models out here for the TG world you never have heard of. Since Jenner went to the "Face Depot" (along with Kenny Rodgers and Wayne Newton) for 199$ Maaco makeover he has had the tag of wanting to look like a woman. Think about it, he has the money, why would he get a half a$$ed job that made him look worse if he really wanted FFS? I would file this under vindictive wife wanted to get her name in the paper.

I think I lost interest in Bruce Jenner and the Olympics when he appeared on an episode of the Love Boat - pre surgery. If we want positive role models, I'd hope we might find some whose notoriety comes without ties to the Kardashians.

Yeah, no problem. No one is required to out themselves to anybody. I understand the personal issue. I did it because I had to. My family is equally spread out between Baltimore and Rhode Island, and I live in New Jersey, which , from where I'm at is equidistant from my house to both points. It's just mileage on my car because I spend so much time on the coastline (I-95, NJ Turnpike, Connecticut, etc.). I'm not a super-duper fan of NJ, as I grew up in RI, and MD, and I would simply prefer to retire on a boat on Chesapeake Bay in MD, or Narragansett Bay in RI, and live the good life.
Oh, and Prissy D, Ben Franklin was quite the charm wih the ladies, especially as he was the American Ambassador to France. The guy liked to fool around in London too! Who knbows what he actually did with womens' garments?
