    I told

A couple weeks ago I posted a thread saying my wife wants me to tell the kids. Long story short I followed her advice. And it one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've tried to post since then but it won't let me. See if this goes through. If it does I'll try again and let you all know how it went.

    Hi Jackie,

How old are your kids? We still call our boys the kids and they are late 20s to late 30s.

follow up to yesterdays "I told"

A couple weeks ago I posted about my wife wanting me to tell the kids. I've tried to post since and idk, it wouldn't let me. Yesterday I posted a short to see if it would work. It did. So here's the story.
I trust my wife completly and rather reluctantly followed her advice. The oldest step daughter(22), my sons 1/2 sister was not phased at all. Actually was happy about it and said "now we just have more in common". Also said I look like gramma, cool! I thought I looked like my dad. Next, step daughter(22)autistic , just said ehh, I'm good with it. Pretty much what I expected. Next, step son(20) aspergers, has no problems and pretty much knew. And he's gay, so why would he care? My bio son(19) I have not told yet. He will take much thought on how to approach. He is off to school now. My biggest concern came with the youngest step son(12) adhd bipolar. Long story short, he gave me a tear filled hug and said thank you for being honest with him. He is very girly himself and has his own little issues. We sat and talked for a long time. He looked at me and said "not bad, but I look more like a jill than a jackie. I spent the whole day dressed and to everyone it was just another saturday. I have absolutly no feers of anyone letting out my secret without my permission.
I see what my wife was doing. Since letting jackie out I am so happy. Not cuz I can dress any time I want. Because I no longer have to hide. And everyone still loves me and thinks no less of me. They understand jackie is part of who I am. Also I've seen it helped them to be ok with who they are. My wife is wonderful. I am the luckiest girl in the world!
