    Question In case of emergency

I thought I could spend time trying out some new clothes and take a better profile pic. I think my leg feel out of its knee socket. So I had to hide the clothes and packaging in pain. Trying to get someone to take me to a doctor
    Deamit this hurt

A hypothetical question. If you're closeted, how far would you go to hide your things in case of emergency? What if you make your condition worse by doing so?

Called healthcare consulting, they just told me to get to a doctor. Anyone have any idea what's up with my leg? My knee look weird also

I would ponder a guess your knee is out of the socket so yes get to the doctor even if you have to call a cab.

You couldn't figure out on your own that you needed to see a doctor?

In my area there are many emergency care clinics. Cheaper and faster than a hospital emergency room but not open 24/7. That's where I would go.

As far as hiding stuff, it depends on your personal situation. If you are hiding your dressing from your wife and children, you probably want to do as much as you can to hide your stuff because the consequences of being found out are pretty high.

If you are out of the closet or living by yourself and your worry is the EMTs seeing your stuff, who cares?

I hope you are on your way to a medical clinic and not sitting at the computer waiting for advice, but if you're waiting for advice, go to a clinic, or hospital right now.

How far would I go? If you are hurt, who cares what you have on?

Back home. Health counselling really scared me, the reason why my knee looked as it did was because of it was swollen bad. And they said that I had somehow strained my leg. The pain came and instead of taking it easy I had to try to stuff the things into a bag. I couldn't move my leg, the pain felt like if it came from my knee cap and then I couldn't lift it cause it would hurt
One and a half hour later I tried to get someone drive me to the hospital, created this post using my smartphone think the clock was half past six when I got there. It didn't hurt as mush then anymore and I was prescribed pills to help against the swallowing and pain
Still limping and can't bend my leg but the pain is gone and hopefully I won't limp tomorrow

I felt that I really shouldn't care about keeping this thing private since I thought this could be serious. But I felt that I had to keep it a secret
Living at home with my folks by the way

For me it would depend on the emergency. If I could safely and in a timely manner defeminize before heading to the DR, I would do that. If it was a real emergency where I needed immediate care, my life would come first and what happens as a result of that happens. I would definitely not fool around or second guess my natural instincts in a crisis moment like that.

A month and a half ago, I was driving my bus at work (city transit) when I thought I might have been having a heart attack. I pulled the bus over and called dispatch for help. I never wear 'guy' underwear anymore and always wear panties. Well, sure enough was taken to the hospital by ambulance. As they were taking me out of my clothes in the ER and saw my dark blue satin panties, they didn't even bat an eye. I said, "Not the first time you guys encountered a guy wearing panties. " The nurses replied nope. There wasn't any laughter nor any teasing. In fact, they didn't even take them off and just fastened a gown around me. After they removed my shoes and socks, they saw my painted toe nails. Also, it was nice getting all the tests done that delt with sticky pads and bandages with a smooth chest, legs, etc. No hair to be pulled = ). After a week of tests turns out I didn't have a heart attack, but they don't know what was causing the symptoms.

Even if the medical professionals hate the GBLT community, most won't be willing to lose their jobs by refusing to treat or making fun of a patient. I can understand a hesitation about getting help, but why put yourself in more pain if you don't have to?

Did you damage your knee recently? Some Sports Accident, or something similar? Your 21, your not heavy, and that's very young for Osteo Arthritis. Is there any history of Rheumatoid Arthritis in The Family?

I'm sure they warned you at The Clinic, if that swelling doesn't reduce, then they will probably have to do other things.

I'm not so sure I would blame you, if the pain wasn't unbearable, I think most of us would probably have tried to get our Things put away. Of course, that can be very dangerous. Haven't heard of a specific case, but I would bet more than a couple have died while trying to get Their Stuff under cover, and they were having an MI, or a Stroke! Each Person will no doubt make their own decision as the place, time, and circumstances would dictate. I just pray they don't make The Wrong One!

    Peace and Love, Joanie

    Hope your knee is OK.

This is another fine example of why should always make sure to wear clean panties!

I have never been in a similar situation, but from what I understand, medical professionals have pretty much seen it all. A man with polished toes and panties would not really phase them. My wife is a nurse, and she has heard stories in her hospital that make our situation seem quite blase'.

They didn't ask about that. They just wanted to know if I had hurt my leg earlier in life.
But no decease in the family and I haven't hurt my leg seriously before.
I have been running with some bad shoes thou. I have had many moments recently when I been forced to stop just because of my left leg (the muscle). I'm gonna take it easier now and buy myself a new pair
I think that the sole can have a direct impact on the knees. It wasn't the knee cap but that's part of how I rationalized.

Sometimes I wondered when my wife was out of town what would happen if I went stone cold dead fully en femme. And, with many of my dresses hung in the closet for all to see. I know my wife would try to conceal all the clothing from everyone. But, what if the adult kids came over to check? I guess I'd never know.

If there is a medical life threatening emergency, then forget how you look. If it is a trip to the doctor or ER for a non life threatening issue, then take off the dress before you go.

Hi Erina, I've often thought what would happen if I ever fell down the steeps
all dressed up and in 4.5" heels and broke a leg or hip.

    a
And to make matters worse my cell phone went flying across the room.

Erina, there is a fluid filled sac just below the knee cap. That sac can become inflamed and very painful. It is frequently called house maids knee because the maids used to scrub the floor on their knees which irritated the sac. It isn't very likely that the running shoes are having that much of an impact on the knee. Are you doing anything that involves a lot of twisting or actually being on your knees?

Worse might be if you didn't go "stone cold dead", but just had a non-fatal stroke or accident. You would have to explain everything and live with the consequences. Dead and you're off the hook.

Sorry that you were injured; I hope you see someone soon to alleviate the pain. It has been my experience that you see a specialist; was it your right knee, your left knee or your w**nie?

Ouch that knee sounds painful! As far as the medical goes I don't hide anything! In fact I tend to dress to the ''nines'' if I'm able to! I hope you are better soon! Hugs!

OK if I've understood the senario correctly it's a non life threatening condition that hurts like hell. You're in the closet and need to stay that way. Do you endure the pain and return to drab, hiding your fem clothing or go with how your are and get outed.
It this point any GG who's a mother is shouting, "Pain, you don't know what pain is until you're had a baby!". So I guess the answer is Girl up and stop acting like a man.
Oh and on the thing about cost. If you're in the UK or anywhere in the EU, sorry to tell our sisters across the pond but this would be treated free for charge inc an ambulance ride if needed. We love our National Health Service!
