...and as Mother used to say, always wear clean underwear in case you are in an accident and have to go to the hospital. Mother never dreamed that in our case, that warning would translate into wearing clean lingerie.
On second thought, if this worst case scenario actually happened, the cleanliness of our lingerie would be the least of our worries....

Don't be afraid to go out dressed because when you do... and somehow or another the CDer ends up catching their house on fire and five fire trucks show up and every neighbor within a half mile radius... and it ALL burns to the ground. EXCEPT their huge walk in closet with both bi fold doors burned completely away, revealing their multi thousand dollar "stash" to the world in pristine, neatly organized splendor.
There is probably someone here who already HAS such a collection who would literally be "tickled pink" to play the part for free?
This thread IS directed [I believe???] at people who WANT out of their closet, not those who are quite content IN it.

If there is an ounce of seriousness in this thread - "being too tired" is a good reason not to go out (dressed or not). But don't listen to me on that one, I am a home body unless the weather is great.
It takes a true Erin to be a pain in the assatar.
It reminds me of the meetup we had last November where we went to the mall. I did kind of freak, and kids did snicker at us but you know what? After that, everything went very smooth. We went to Payless, tried on shoes, no problem, went to Victoria Secret, no problem, walked around a bit with no problem and then went to the Deb Shops where we had the store to ourselves after they closed. I was kind of scared in the beginning, but it was a great experience. Oh, I also went with friends so THAT made it a lot easier!
